Make a holiday rental home or apartment in Elenite, Bulgaria your home away from home

Over the last two decades the Black Sea Coast of Bulgaria has gained international recognition as an alternative summer holiday destination to the likes of Spain and Greece, and Elenite is one of the most modern and high-quality resorts in this area – having been developed purely for tourists. When the resort was first built in 1985, no-one lived here. Now it is a popular spot within easy reach of other holiday hot-spot’s such as Sunny Beach, and contains some high quality holiday rental accommodation.

Things to do in Elenite, Bulgaria

The main difference with the resort of Elenite is that it is an arguably more exclusive resort than some of the neighbouring towns and villages. Self catering accommodation and facilities are housed within a pedestrian-only area, making it a totally self-contained complex. Facilities within the family-orientated village include bars, restaurants, nightclubs and shops.

As with many resorts along the Black Sea Coast, the main draw for Elenite is its beaches. Set amongst fantastic scenery, the golden sands of Privilege Fort are the place to head – as this is a private beach for holidaymakers in the Elenite complex. Here you can choose from a range of water sports, such as jet skiing, sailing, swimming and wind surfing, or simply relaxing and enjoy the almost-guaranteed sunshine.

If you are seeking a more active break, there are plenty of other options. You can make use of the on-site gym, health and recreation facilities, play a round of golf, or take the short journey into the ancient city Nessebar – just 8km away, which is a World Heritage Site and is often referred to as the ‘Pearl of the Black Sea’.

Places to visit on holiday in Elenite, Bulgaria

Elenite is well positioned, just 45km from Bulgaria’s fourth biggest city, Burgas. The city has a large port, is home to the local airport, and is a key cultural and tourist centre along the coast. Elenite is also within a stone’s throw of the popular beach resorts of Nessebar and Sunny Beach, which offer similar attractions to Elenite, with their own Blue Flag Beaches and vibrant nightlife.

Weather in Elenite, Bulgaria

Summer months (late June to early September) are by far the most popular time to visit the Black Sea Coast, as temperatures peak at over 30C, and everyone makes the most of the beaches and sunshine. Winters are a lot colder, but if you prefer to get away from the crowds and experience authentic Bulgarian culture, then this is the time to make use of an Elenite holiday villa.
