The beach of Es Trenc is absolutely fantastic, stretching for 3km around the inside of a wide bay. The beach is a recognised naturist beach, and most naturists head towards the centre of the beach. Es Trenc is regularly cited as the most beautiful on the southern coast, and is the ideal spot from which to enjoy sailing, water skiing, wind surfing and swimming.

The Es Salobrar salt lagoon which lies behind Es Trenc beach is a magnificent place to spend a few hours in the sun. These are some of the last remaining sand dunes in Mallorca, and birdlife is abundant in the area, making walking and riding especially rewarding.

Although the Es Trenc / Sa Rapita region is a quiet corner of Mallorca, there are some wonderful facilities for entertaining the whole family. The Golf Fantasia Crazy Golf course is a wonderful 54 hole attraction, and the Aqualand el Arenal water park is well within reach of a self catering Es Trenc villa. The Palma Aquarium also makes for a wonderful day trip from Sa Rapita property. There are also a great range of local sports facilities including tennis courts, swimming pools and water sports, as well as an excellent golf course within a 20 minute drive at Palma de Mallorca.

The village of Sa Rapita is a small village, yet there are a great number of beautiful Sa Rapita properties to choose from. The Sa Rapita marina is wonderfully picturesque, and an excellent place from which to take a boat trip along the coast or a scuba diving trip. There are also a couple of exquisite restaurants around the marina, where many hours can be spent while happily watching the world drifting by and sampling the finest of Mallorcan cuisine.

Es Trenc beach has been declared a “Special Interest Natural Area”, and there are very few places in Mallorca where beaches and nature still coexist so happily.

Taking Es Trenc of Sa Rapita accommodation is an absolute joy at any time of year. July and August are the warmest months, with daily temperatures soaring into the mid 30’s, (˚C), but even during the middle of winter, conditions are wonderfully warm, hovering around the 20˚C mark in the middle of the day, perfect for cycling tours of the area.

Although it is only 25km from Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI), the roads are small and pretty badly signposted! Reaching an Es Trenc villa or Sa Rapita property is relatively easy if you prepare though, following signs towards Llucmajor and Colonia de Sant Jordi until you reach a crossroads and the first sign to Es Trenc! Taxi drivers will know the way should you prefer not to take a hire car. There are plenty of inbound flights from the UK arriving in Palma de Mallorca, provided by almost every airline providing services from the UK.
