Just a little further away is Bergerac where wine tasting is a must, and further still is Bordeaux – a spectacular city full of wonderful architecture and with an historic centre that’s a World Heritage Site too. Around the rest of Dordogne you’ll never be short of castles to visit as there are over 5,000 of them, including of course the remains of Grignols Castle!
