Make a holiday rental villa or apartment in Hauts-de-Seine, France your home away from home

The Hauts-de-Seine department of France is one of the smallest departments, forming the western part of the Ile-de-France. Together with the departments of Seine-Saint-Denis and Val-de-Marne, Hauts-de-Seine forms a complete ring around Paris, known as the Petite Couronne. The most recognised symbol of Hauts-de-Seine is the impressive Grande Arche de la Defense, and many visit the department from the centre of Paris for the excellent shopping and theatres. However, there is a more peaceful, natural side to Hauts-de-Seine, seemingly lifetimes away from Europe’s leading business centre, the woodlands and gardens of Vallee-aux-Loups.

The banks of the River Seine, from which the department takes its name, offer wonderfully peaceful days out. There are many beautiful footpaths along the river, where you can fish or walk in absolute peace. The large swathes of peaceful countryside offer perfect relief from the hustle and bustle of the urban part of the department.

The Hauts-de-Seine is a cultural hub of Paris, and also has some fantastic shopping streets to explore. The Musee National de le Caramique and the art instillations of the Arche de la Defense provide magnificent insights into the regions industrial and artistic past. The arch itself lies perfectly inline with the Champs Elysees, and seems to form a perfect reflection, although highly modern, to the Arc de Triomphe at the other end.

Of course, a holiday rental apartment in Hauts-de-Seine is a magnificent place from which to explore the best of Paris city centre. The internationally famous attractions of Paris draw visitors from all around the world, and there are a vast number to choose from. The iconic Eiffel Tower, the masterpieces of the Louvre and the famous Disneyland Paris are among the most popular.
