I just returned from my 2 weeks vacation in las Palomas Catalanas Villas. <br/> <br/>The service could not be better. Elias in reservation and Ruben in receptions were perfect. <br/> <br/>The view from the villa was stunning. The beach just steps from the villa was perfect for us, specially if you have children. A good swim at the swimming pool was also great. <br/> <br/>The price is slightly higher than other villas in Sitges, but believe me it is worth it pay the difference. <br/> <br/>We will be back next year.

Incredible vacation

I would recommend this fantastic villa. The views are spectaculars, the sunset from the terrace or solarium, you can not imagine unless you see it. <br/> <br/>Very confortable 3 minutes walk to the beach, and very closed to downtown and train station. <br/> <br/>We have reserved for next year, because these villas go fast. <br/> <br/>In one word INCREDIBLE!

Fun place to be

Six of our family stayed a week at Las Palomas and wished we had booked for 2 weeks. It is a fun location, plenty to do and a short train ride from Barcelona. Our villa was well equiped and had good supplies of everything. Olivier welcomed us warmly and was thorough in his introduction of the place. He even gave us a ride to the supermarket so that we could get our bearings. The welcome basket was a treat. One night an electrical storm took out the power so we played Trival Pursuit by candle light. <br/>I only give a 4 case rating because, although very clean, it felt like the villa could do with some decluttering. There was a lot of unnecessary jumble, especially round the little kitchen table area and in the living room. Some may see this as homely. As mentioned by others, the linen is also a bit worn. Having said that, it is still a great place to stay and perfect for a big group. <br/>Would recommend booking 2 or more villas for family reunion and all getting together for sunset drinks on the roof terrace. <br/>Magic!

Slice of heaven

Location- Our place was cliffside, <50 steps downhill to a clothing optional beach; 2 minute walk to the marina with great restaurants and a couple of convenience stores and 15 minutes to town center. The area is hilly with stairs everywhere but are only a mild physical challenge. From BCN airport, get a door to door car hire and be at Las Palomas in 45 mins. Mention’s been made below of safety issues but we never once felt threatened nor did the locals display contempt. The complex does have through paths which creates some foot-traffic among locals and tourists so that passers-by are sometimes heard from the balcony and master bedroom but we never found the noise particularly bothersome. <br/>The property- Our space included a rear entrance bedroom, an upstairs bathroom, a full kitchen, a dining room and adjoining living room that opened to a balcony with spectacular views of the ocean, Sitges, and the sunset. An outdoor spiral metal staircase led from the balcony to the rooftop sundeck. Downstairs was the master bedroom, another full bathroom, and an additional rear bedroom. The apartment was equipped with cooling units throughout. Overall, the furnishings and linens are a bit worn and dated as are the tvs and appliances but all were perfectly functional and amply comfortable. It’s most helpful to view the videos in the owner’s website in addition to the pictures to get a real feel for the décor and ambience to see if they suit your taste, keeping in mind that this is more a home than a hotel. <br/>The service- Elias and Jose couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating with planning and preparation, especially with honoring discounted room and currency exchange rates. We had a booking issue in that Jose had inadvertently scheduled an arrival on our last night stay but he made up for the mistake by prorating our stay and giving us free airport transportation. Greeter Oliver gives a thorough orientation and helpful starter tips. He remained available throughout as when an A/C issue arose, necessitating service which was thankfully provided during and not after our stay. <br/>Value- For all the room, comfort, convenience, location, and sweeping views, it’s hard to beat Las Palomas. Compared to the astronomic costs of hotel suites, these sea-front properties are the best bargains to be had anywhere. We couldn’t pay a bigger compliment to Las Palomas than booking a repeat stay; so we did and are looking forward to our return in August 2008.

Wonderful holiday, the villa was very clean and spacious, loved the basket of fruit!! and the little extras to start us off. <br/>The site could not have been better, no roads to cross for the beach, important with a small child. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils etc. We had dinner within easy walking distance each night in town or the marina, and have not eaten better anywhere! <br/> <br/>We are now looking forward to our next visit this year.

Beautifully situated villa near Barcelona

A cosy and very well equipped villa with wonderfull terraces overlooking the sea and the pictoresque town of Sitges just south of Barcelona. Within walking distance of the restaurants and shops of Sitges and a small harbour. <br/>Excellent customer service and information before and upon arrival.

We just came back from our holiday in Sitges. We loved everything in the villas and town. <br/>Very convenient steps away from the beach, and within walking distance to downtown Sitges and the train station. <br/>The villa was perfectly decorated and a very pleasant ambience. It was also very confortable for all of the family and the staff very friendly. <br/>As a summary we love it all and will recommend to all of our friends

My wife, my 4 children and I spent 3 weeks in Las Palomas Catalanas Villas las September-October. <br/>We had a great time. The villa was perfect, marvelous sunset views from the terrace. The rooms were confortable enough, welcome basket was very good also. <br/>We have stayed in many places in Sitges but no one like this. <br/>We will go back in the summer 2,008. <br/>We recommend this beautiful place

The place for family reunions

Dear Elias, <br/>with pleasure I assure you that the two connected villas at agua dolce were a perfect place to meet, as the various rooms, sufficient bathrooms, terraces allowed us to be together but also to withdraw if you felt like it. Everything that is needed was provided, bread, fruit, even spices - there was actually nothing we had to buy the first day. Situated perfectly! <br/>The only thing that makes me award 4 instead of 5 cases is the fact, that some of the rooms are very small and for people higher than 6 feet and a cot present some problems. But surely, not every party will consist of as many people as we did. <br/> <br/>Thanks again and all the best to you and your family, Erhard

This is an excellent holiday location and the staff are helpful. We lost the safe key and within hours they came and sorted out the problem. <br/> <br/> Good access to the beach and the local town. Parking can be challenging but spaces can be found at most times.

The property was comfortable, clean, tidy and well equipped. The property had excellent views from the balcony and a generous amount of living space. <br/> <br/>The information packs provided were excellent for both a new visitor to the area and a returning one. <br/> <br/>In addition the caretaker was extremely flexible with regards departure time from the Villa and allowed us to stay beyond the normal departure time as we had young children with us. <br/> <br/>The only negative we had from our stay were the shutters failed to work on occassion which made us concerned for the safety of the property when left.

The spectacular views of Sitges, the beach only steps from the villa, the quality of the villas, etc. etc. made our stay as one of the best vacations we had. <br/> <br/>We really recommend this villas for your vacation stay.

We stayed last year in one of Las Palomas Catalanas Villas. <br/> <br/>We had a great time. The view, the facilities, furniture, welcome basket, etc. etc. were fantastic. <br/> <br/>The beach was only steps from the villa. The swimming pool was fantastic. Downtown Sitges was within walking distance. It is a very nice town. <br/> <br/>In summary I will recommend these villas to all of our friends and will go back as soon as I can.

Renter Beware

We rented a 3 bed villa from these people last year and it was absolutely awful. They have some nice villas and then they have a horrible villa overlooking a pool. It was dirty, we had to insist they replace linen and buy dishes. What annoyed me most was we took it for 1 month and I specifically asked questions about the villa, the patio, its suitability for children and were told outright lies by the owner. It was not suitable for children because of lots of access steps. there was no balcony except for a small alcove which seated 2 people and the place was old and badly set up. To make matters worse the neighbours are rude locals who do not like renters using the pool area and in general make you feel uncomfortable. When we complained to try and get some of our money back they refused. All in all we were very disappointed with this crowd. Also there are a lot of robberies in this development we were broken into and we were told by the police that the complex has regular breakins. We loved the area - and if you have not been before then look around because there is ots of better accommodation around with run by more professional people.
