The flat was cozy and we felt very 'French'. Well located for the station and the beach. Great to be able to cook the stuff we bought in the markets and local shops
Not for you if you have trouble sleeping with traffic noise as it is on the first floor and of a busy street with buses all night.

We absolutely adored this apartment. It is bright, clean and very well equipped - Ideal for a family holiday. All the little extras like beach towels, body boards, DVDs, CDs, books, etc., were very much appreciated by our teenage children; whilst the copious amount of information on places and things to see and do in the area was great for us adults.
The location in a typically french apartment building, allowed us to enjoy a taste of day-to-day french living - Much better than the usual, purpose built tourist accommodation.
The customer service - from the initial enquiry, right through to checkout - was extremely efficient. The owners have definitely created a 'home from home'.
The apartment is ideally situated - less than 5 minutes walk from the train/bus station, from where you can travel to well known resorts; and only a short walk to the promenade and the 'old town'. Now that we have experienced Summer in Nice, we can't wait to return to this apartment for a Winter break, for further sight seeing and skiing.
Without doubt, we will recommend this apartment to ALL of our friends. A real find!

We'd like it. The apartment is great. It's in an old building and we felt like in a film.
There was a very good customer service, all we need and more was there.
10 min by foot to the centre of nice.
It isn't quiet, because it's in a livelily corner, there is a cafe, a pharmacie, a greencrocer and all the people on the street. But that doesn't matter if you like life in a town.
We wíll recommend it to our friends und we will come back.

Nice is nice and so is this apartment. Its ideally situated - close to the main shopping area and yet within walking distance of the promenade and beach and the popular night spots. Its close too to two stops on the new lightrail/tram systems that connects you with the Gare Routiere ( bus station) and the raiway station. The apartment itsself is very cosy and homely. There are two good sized bedrooms, a bathroom with excellent shower and large bath, a very well equiped kitchen and a living/dining room with comfortable chairs and balcony. These high ceilinged rooms are light and airy and freshly painted in provencal colours. One or the two large windows opened on to a balcony. The apartment is on the junction of two lively streets and one of the joys of a holiday here is to sit at the balcony with a glass of wine and watch la vie francaise play out before you.
The bottle of wine on arrival was a nice start to a very happy stay for our party of three. We loved the fapartment. We soon got to know the people in the little grocery shop, the boulangerie and the cafe - all of which are on your doorstep. (For bigger shops Monoprix is 500 mts).
Can't wait to return. Go - you'll love it !

Great Long weekend in Feb |

Dear Joe & Patricia,
We have just got back from a great long weekend with two friends, Sallie & John. The weather was just right for sightseeing and we packed so much into just 3 days, its just a 15min taxi ride from the airport and all went very smoothly. Eze was my favorite and very beautiful, although I am not so sure that walking was such a good idea as you can take a bus, although it was well worth all the stunning views on the way up. The trains are very easy & cheap and we even travelled as far as Italy, we saw snow on the mountains & the day before we were enjoying lunch on the beach. The apartment is very nice, & has all that you need. It was quite noisy at night but that is too be expected in this central town location. Its ideal being 5 mins from the beach and 5 mins from the Station, no need for a car at all. There were so many great places to eat nearby we will have to come back again. The wine was much appreciated and we would recommend this apartment to friends. Thanks for a great weekend.

Owners Response: Thank you very much for your kind comments regarding the apartment and its ideal location for exploring the Cote d'Azur. We're delighted that you all had a great time in Nice. Although the streets can be noisy at times, we do agree with you that "the combination of busy days, fresh air and the odd tipple makes sleep come easy". Don't hesitate at all to contact us again - we'd love to have you back.

Comments from Owner Guestbook |
We have been fully booked from mid May to mid Nov which must say something!
'Dear Patricia and Joe
We are just back from a wonderful holiday in Nice and enjoyed it so much we cannot wait to go back. The apartment was all that you promised and all that we hoped for. Hope to be in touch again and many, many thanks.' (Joyce & party, October 2006)
'Hello Joe and Patricia
We had a WONDERFUL time. We LOVED it. Thank you for your home from home.. am already recommending you....
The flat has a lovely feel to it. Well done... and it was a real experience for three 'country' souls to watch the constantly unfolding entertainment below.. and it is so very amazingly accessible...am now eating fish and veggies to try to make up for a week of French super-indulgence...' (Sandra & guests, December 2006)
