We have just got back home from a brilliant week at Casa Escondida - what a find! It is just perfect; clean, quiet, well equipped, excellently maintained and just the perfect place to spend a relaxing holiday. My 2 boys, aged 9 and 6, loved the pool, which was the cleanest and most well maintained pool we have ever had. We have visited the area before and completely fallen in love with it and finding this villa has meant that we are planning to go back again next year - for 3 weeks this time though, as 1 week just flew past. I can't recommend this place strongly enough, I shall be passing on the details to all family and friends.

We enjoyed the villa in June 2009 very much. Private but not to isolated and John was on hand if you needed any help or advice. The salt water pool was lovely spent a lot of time in it. The villa had everything we wanted and spotless. The welcoming pack was more than expected, along with white and red wine. John has thought of everything. We enjoyed it so much we have booked again for next june.

This villa is a true home from home, everything has been thought of for your comfort. You arrive to a welcome from John who is ever helpful throughout your stay but not intrusive. He provides an excellent services for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. The welcome pack is well thought out to see you through until you get to the shops.
I would recommend Casa Escondida to anyone,this was our second stay and you haven't seen the last of us John.

We have just had a most wonderful relaxing holiday at Casa Escondida, John and Rogelia looked after everything really well. We were made to feel very welcome, a lovely clean bright villa in a lovely area, it was a fantastic way to spend our Ruby wedding anniversary. Great for people of all ages we shall be returning without doubt.

We would like to let you know how much we enjoyed our 4 week stay, mid February to mid March 2009. After 12 years of booking self catering from New Zealand through the Caribbean and Europe we can honestly say we have never stayed anywhere as beautiful and tranquil as your Casa. Your attention to detail was superb, requests for assistance were attended to within minutes of contact. The villa is stupendous and we now miss the quiet evenings by the fireside. The proximity of the villa to both the beauty of the Algarve beaches and the wonderful hill country enabled us to see both the modern and the old Algarve. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to visit your Casa and learn a little more of life in such a setting. We will return.

This was really a quiet and nice place. The swimming pool with acsess from both bedrooms was just super. The owner provided very good service and he was always there if needed. I would very much recommend this property, specially for people who want a quiet place.

Just returned from Casa Escondida where four of us had a wonderful, relaxed holiday. The villa is very comfortable and has lovely views over the countryside to the sea. John was always on hand to help with queries and made us all feel very welcome. We will definitely return.

The property was much better than described. John and Rogelia were unbelievabe hosts doing everything to make our stay a memorable one. The home was extremely clean and well maintained. We can't wait to make a return trip, and would not hesitate recommending this propery to friends and family. Their are many excellent restaurants and attractions in the area. We only had time visit a few, and enjoyed them all.

This is our second 14 days at John's Villa, all the amenities were as stated on the web site, lovely Villa garden and pool. John and his staff could not do enough for us we will be back again HE SHOIWS THE OTHERS HOW IT SHOULD BE DONE. Joan & Bill

12th July-26th July 2007. Had a lovely holiday. Villa superb....website doesn't do it justice. John always on hand but never intrusive...could not have been more hospitable or helpful. Accommodation and pool spotless. Two weeks not enough...we'll just need to come back !! The Thomsons, South Queensbury, Scotland. 5July 2007. We have been here for three weeks. The description of Casa Escondida on the web does not do justice to the reality. A very warm welcome awaits you at Casa Escondida......everything you need....just bring yourself !! Something to look forward top next year when we have booked for a month
