This is a great apartment - My wife and I and our brood of 6 children have stayed at this property a few times now and would definitely go back. The booking process is friendly, yet professional and the owners are willing to provide any additional information about the property if requested. We have been welcomed at the property by a helpful English lady, who has shown us round and provided useful information on the nearest shops etc.
Location - The location is great – it’s residential so you get a taste of real France, yet near the harbour (so nice for early morning and evening strolls). There’s a few supermarkets close by and it’s easy to walk to the Nice beaches. The surrounding area has a buzz, but is not too intense. We didn’t hire a car, but relied on the excellent public transport. Loading the children up with all the beach gear we walked 15mins to the train station and could travel to so many different beaches in each direction. The bus service is also excellent.
Property – The apartment is clean, neat, spacious and well equipped, with everything we needed for all the family.
Only two very minor points - the shower screens did leak if we were not careful and the dishwasher occasionally needed some TLC to coax it into life, but overall an excellent place to stay.

Just got back from a weeks stay at this apartment, had a brilliant time in Nice. There were 7 of us staying in the apartment and we couldn't get over just how much room there was for us all. Location was perfect, only a short walk from the bus station/beach/restaurants/supermarkets (kitchen was VERY well stocked with everything you would need if you wanted to cook in). Apartment felt secure and was very quiet, didn't hear any noise from other apartments or the communal garden. It was also well maintained and very clean. As the beach is stones not sand, we took good advantage of the many padded beach mats provided in the apartment (also took a short bus ride to Villefranche which had a good shingle beach and reasonable places to seek shade and have some lunch which Nice beach lacked). We had all 3 showers going at once every night of the holiday and they still provided very powerful, hot water. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough to anyone who wants to be in a central location and within walking distance of the sights of Nice.

Noisy Nice - July 09 |

The apartment was clean, well furnished and ideally located for lots of activities in Nice and beyond. It was great not to have just the minimum number of plates, cups, cutlery etc - lots in the cupboards. The rooms were generally bigger than I expected and having 3 showers with 4 adult daughters was just about right. The showers are over baths so you have to step into them.
We used the tram (garibaldi stop) to get to the main beach and Massena shops. The bus station is also close and several bus routes passed nearby. We bought some 7 day transport passes which could be used for the tram and buses, but they did not apply to the buses to go to Cannes and Monaco. Still good value as it included the trip to/from the airport.
There is a swimming spot, not for little kids, at the end of the port wall. Big rocks to spread out on, a ladder to get into the water, deep, and a shower to wash afterwards. Wifi was available "free" at the pub over the road ( good beer) or at Maccas near the Bus port ( coffee).
Nice is noisy - it was very noisy during our stay as we always had windows open for the cool breeze. The shutters meant we were quite happy with the security of the apartment even with it being on the first floor.
No Smoking areas are slowly being introduced around Nice - inside restaurants etc but you eat your meal outside with all the smokers around you- and there were lots. There must have been lots of dogs in the area too, whilst we didn't hear any, we knew which footpath they had been on.
All the museums, art galleries we went into in Nice were free. Some other places were happy to give discounts to the girls just using their domestic uni student cards as proof.
We arrived in the evening much later than expected (travel delays) and the agent could not have been nicer when we finally met her. She took time to help us get our bearings and find food!

I recently stayed in this apartment with 6 members of my family. Although 2 of us stayed on the put up beds in the lounge it was not a problem. The apartment is very spacious, with the added benefit of 3 bathrooms. It is within easy reach of the old town and the tram stop is only 3 minutes away which runs into Nice centre every 6 or 7 minutes. We would definately stay here again, and with the added benefit of having an English speaking agent who met us on our first day it was really easy.

I stayed in this apartment with 4 friends in May, 2009. The apartment is excellent. The owners and agent who met us in Nice were extremely helpful and the apartment had everything we needed. As 5 keen road cyclists the location of this apartment near the Col d Eze, Basse Corniche and other great roads out of Nice was excellent. Also, there are plenty of food shops and bars/restaurants nearby so not having a car was not a limitation for us. The apartment also has a car parking space if you need it. I would certainly stay again without any hesitation. Excellent!

Everything in the description was spot on. The location was in easy walk to the bus and trams. The property was well cared for and well maintained by Clair who explainded everything to us regarding the amenities and how to see Nice. The owner provided a very detailed information pack on Nice which as most helpfull. I would recommend this apartment to all my friends and would probably return again in the summer as it rained most of the time we were there , because of this we ate in most nights and the facilities were excellent.

The property fully lived up to our expectations and the website description. The owner had been in contact before our stay and provided useful information.
The flat was clean, safe and comfortable and had everything we needed. The video, book and music selection were appreciated. The flat was fine for 8 people, although one of us had to sleep in the lounge but the z-bed was comfortable. The extra child easily fitted in the largest bedroom. The living area was great and easily big enough for all 8 of us
As arranged we were met by the representative in Nice who gave us lots of useful information for our stay. This included where to get the bus and tram, the nearest beaches, supermarkets and how to best get around on foot.
We had a wonderful time in Nice and the flat was a great base for exploring.
It was very hot in the flat at night but the fans kept us comfortable and we had plug ins to keep the insects at bay so could keep the shutters open. Our only other slight complaint would be some more child friendly cups/plates would have been handy for us.
I would definitely recommend the flat to friends as a great base for staying in Nice and exploring the nearby coastal towns.
