We 've had a wonderful week in Villa le Torri. Everything was so very comfortable and tasteful and beautiful. Our appartment had 2 very beautiful bathrooms and also the bedrooms and kitchen were great with lovely furniture. We've enjoyed lots of time in the beautiful garden and the pool. The welcome buffet was so very good, and it was so nice to meet the other guests. We visited Florence and Siena and Volterra and San Gimignano. We'll never forget this wonderful week and the kindly hospitality of Gabriele and his parents

What a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the Chianti countryside. The grounds are beautiful with plenty of places to eat outside or enjoy wine at poolside. Gabriele and family are such good hosts and Gabriele will set up wine tastings, tours, etc. Do not miss Wednesday nights dinner as it is a feast for the taste and eyes. You will not be disappointed with this choice and this is my second time back. Cannot wait to go back again.

Wir haben das Apartment auf Grund einen persönlichen Empfehlung gebucht. Unsere Erwartung wurden voll erfüllt. Der WEB-Auftritt gibt einen unverfälschten Eindruck wieder. Der Service ist professionell, perfekt und dabei herzlich. Die Zimmer sind groß und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Lage ist durch die Nähe zu den Städten Florenz, Siena und Pisa ideal. Das Begrüßungsessen (am Abend des Anreisetags, inclusive) und das toskanische Menue am Mittwoch ist sehr empfehlenswert. Wünschenswert wäre eine Klimaanlage bzw. „Fliegenfenster“ wegen den Mücken.

Le Torri is GREAT!

The "le Torri" villa was located outside of Montespertoli in the Chianti area of Tuscany on top of a hill with beautiful views of vinyards across the street. It was a private walled villa with a beautiful garden and pool. The building was a large stone structure in immaculate condition with a beautiful and well groomed lawn and gardens. We loved the area as it was very centrally located to all of the places that we wanted to visit. The villa is owned and operated by Gabriele, Paolo and Maria Pia and Gabriele was very helpful, especially with regards to driving directions etc. We were not able to enjoy it but his mother Maria puts on a wonderful Italian meal for all of the guests on Thursday evening.

Le Torri was a beautiful, well appointed property with character and matched the descriptions on the very informative website. The pool area was picturesque and a perfect place to relax. The only drawback for us was the lack of air conditioning as it was very hot when we visited at the end of July. Mosquitoes, too, were a nuisance and meant that it wasn't a good idea to open the windows. A big plus, however, was the hospitality of the owners, Gabriele and family. The welcome buffet on the Saturday and the home cooked meal mid-week were excellent. Due to its situation it is advisable to have a car. We didn't book one in advance as we had hoped to use the local buses. Indeed we did go into Florence on the early morning bus (7.00 am) but it was impossible to visit other areas so we decided to hire a car for a few days. This meant another trip into Florence to collect it, so would really recommend organising this in advance. The area around is stunning and it would be a shame not to enjoy it to the full. We enjoyed San Gimignano, Greve and Montefioralle in particular.

Now it's very complicate to have air-conditioning in the apartment and is not beautiful to see the machine external, it's a really bad impact with the house. <br/> <br/>About the Mosquitoes, I want remember in each bedroom there is a mosquitoes machine. <br/>Next year I'll find a solution with a special machine somewhere in the garden and in the apartment don't meet again mosquitoes problem. <br/> <br/>About the car, on my web site there is a link “without car”, a link with full information to see what you can do here in Le Torri without it. <br/> <br/>Thank you very much and sorry for the inconvenience you had here with us! <br/> <br/>Gabriele

Our experience at Le Torri was excellent. The website was very informative and accurate, and the property was very clean and well maintained - quaint but with all the modern amenities. The owners were delightful people and were very kind and informative. Our apartment was spacious, quiet and comfortable and the other guests were a delight to meet. We had access to the Internet and to a washer/dryer. The location was very good for anyone wanting an authentic Tuscan experience, and Florence was only a 20 minute bus ride away. Driving through the Tuscany valley and the hill towns was very easy and fun, and there were many wineries and good restaurants nearby. We were within walking distance to a grocery store, coffee shop, and pharmacy. I would recommend Le Torri to anyone and would definitely stay there again. We loved it!

Truly a wonderful location and a good central base to explore the fabulous Tuscan countryside. Pisa, Florence, Siena and plenty more all within easy reach. Property was excellent with a very friendly and helpful host. Great gardens and pool, loads of space to relax and soak up the sunshine. Secure parking in the grounds. Would use again for future visits to Tuscany.

wonderful stay at Villa Le Torri

Villa Le Torri is a very beautiful place where you can have a rest for both the body and the soul. <br/>It is the best place for a Tuscan villa vacation for those who dream to see Tuscan landscapes and the cities of Florence, Lucca, Sienna, Volterra, Pisa, San Gimignano, and Vinchi. <br/>This very well-groomed villa with a pool and attractive garden filled with olive trees also has beautiful rooms in the Tuscany style. The house is heated during cool weather. The kitchen is well stocked with all of the necessary equipment for cooking delicious meals. <br/>The owners are very hospitable and are happy to help you with all of your requests. <br/>We wanted to thank Gabriele and his family for our wonderful stay at Villa Le Torri. <br/>We hope to visit again in the future.

Le Torri Villa in Tuscany for a week or more is the best of Italy. After having visited Rome, Florence and Venice, the quiet countryside was delightful. The family owner operators certainly made everyone feel welcomed from the beginning of the week until the end. Their assistance with directions, maps, dining suggestions, starting staples for the kitchen and information on local shopping, churches and bus schedules was extremely helpful. LeTorri is within conveinient driving distance to such scenic towns as Lucca, Sienna, Cortona, Volterra, etc. The apartments are immaculate and well appointed appropriate to the Tuscan countryside. We would highly recommend Le Torri as the best Tuscan villa vacation. It was more beautiful than the website pictures and delivered everything and more than advertised.

From the cypress lined drive to the opening of the iron gates you'll know when you arrive that you picked well. An impressive and lovingly restored property in a stunning location, Le Torri met or exceeded our expectations on all counts. Clean, all needed amenities, courteous hospitality, comforts. Gabriele helped with restaurant recommendations (each was a hit) and Uffizi reservations for Florence (a must) as well as directions and helpful tips for touring. Very central location for day trips with car. Request the ground floor if you want to avoid steps. And when you enter the reception/office area be sure to look up to see the wonderful original vaulted ceiling!
