Casa Pantano provides a high standard of accommodation with numerous plus points. Good air con system prevents sleepless nights in the warmest of conditions and one could imagine the place being cosy in winter. Excellent pool takes care of the exercise aspects and relaxation is catered for with extensive patio and terraces. Local ammenities are adequate and the main supermarket is only twenty minutes away - it has an excellent fish counter. Local eateries are good and reasonably priced. The location allows quick access the main road network without the property losing its sense of isolation. My only reservation is that the beds are a little small if you are over six feet tall. Overall Casa Pantano is a value for money property and is thoroughly worth a visit. A final point - the people you deal with are helpful, efficient and very professional.

C'est un endroit magnifique, la vue est impressionante, et c'est un plaisir de se réveiller chaque matin, face au Lac de Vinuela. Je recommande cet endroit qui est vraiment très agréable, et cette maison, qui est très bien équipée. J'ai passé une agréable semaine. Dommage, la piscine était un peu froide (fin avril) mais en pleine saison, la piscine doit surement être très agréable. <br/>Merci pour votre accueil.

Villa Vida

We had a super holiday at Villa Vida. The views from the balcony are absolutely stunning and the villa is lovely. It is clean and well furnished. <br/>I would recommend Villa Vida to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in the sun, surrounded by stunning scenery with plenty of peace and quiet. it is also a good base to use for exploring the area. <br/>Nigel and Sue

Pretty neat modern cottage

We were there in August 2008. The house is very nice, clean and maintained. It has a beautiful view of the lake. We felt very well and enjoyed the beautiful pool and garden. The information kit in the house was very helpful. The House handover has worked super. For the future we would be a weekly change of linen, the purchase of a dishwasher and new requirements for the couches wish. From the gas grill, we were thrilled.

Stunning ! ! ! !

My family and my self went out to the Villa earlier this year and had a fantastic time while we were there. The villa is very nice and has a good layout both inside and out. The balcony area can be sealed off so the kids could not get down to the pool area which was superb and even when we were at the poole there is fencing all round the pool area so the do not venture into the undergrowth. The views of the lake and the mountains (upto 2000ft) are breath taking. Frazer and his father were very helpfull and very friendly and kept us well informed both prior to our arrival and during our stay. It is a little bit out the way and you will need to have a car to get about but the drives and the good quality roads around the area make it worth while.

We absolutely love the area around Lake Vinuela and it's ideally located to visit just about all the major cities - Malaga, Seville, Cordoba, Granada and the smaller attractions - El Torcal, Montes de Malaga, Alhama de Granada, Torre del Mar & Nerja. <br/> <br/>We live just 10 minutes away, but the family stayed at the villa with our friend from the UK and we had a great time. As I was still working, the only problem for me was the internet connection, which was very quickly resolved. But I would recommend anybody relying on an internet connection to use the owner's other villa next door. <br/> <br/>It would be nice to have a bigger table in the shade on the lower terrace as temperatures were regularly over 45C while we were there. The villa is lovely - well appointed with great views.

With regard to the internet connection, next week I will be at the Villas and will invest in a N-Router with a lot more range so the Wi-Fi cloud reaches across and if this is not the solution I will put another line in Casa Pantano for next season. Nice place, nice area

Accommodation good especially the outside space and the pool. Great views of the lake and interesting area-lots of mountain roads and small villages. Too many English people in the local bars and restaurants for my liking. Some Spanish TV channels would be nice and some screening on the top balcony between the adjoining property. We had areally good holiday-relaxing and quiet.

I will look to putting a broader Sky TV programme as our guests come from all over Europe and this is a valid point. I will leave, in the villas, information of excellent Spanish restaurants in the area with a local cliental. I am glad you both had a great holiday and hope to see you again when you need some peace and quiet by the lake.
