We really enjoyed our 11 nights at Villa Jade in late September. The location of the Villa was great, being far enough away from the Village to enjoy a relaxing time around the lovely pool, but near enough for a short taxi ride to enjoy the great restaurants in the evening. The facilities at the villa were great with everything that we needed being available. The Villa was clean, tidy, and comfortable and the pool cleaners/linen maids did not disturb us at all. Emma was very helpful prior to going and we also met her whilst we were there which was nice. Overall I would recommend the villa and Kalkan itself to friends and family looking for a relaxing holiday.

Villa Jade

We had a lovely, peaceful two weeks at Villa Jade in June - the perfect time of year for Turkey. The villa and pool are just as wonderful as they look on the website, with fabulous views over Kalkan. The evening aperitif at sunset overlooking that view became a delightful habit. <br/>I still daydream about that lovely pool. <br/>We would definitely recommend Villa Jade to family and friends - and indeed have already done so!

Beautiful Villa Jade

Our 3rd time to Villa Jade. The villa is always clean and well maintained. Emma takes great care and thought for everyone who stays at her villa. The view is so beautiful cannot go out to dinner until it's dark. Then when we return we are around the pool star gazing or looking at the lights in Kalkan. Very hard to go anywhere else in the future. Most definitely be a 4th + time to Villa Jade.

A beautiful villa

We chose Villa Jade because it looked stunning and also because of the great reviews it had received from previous holidaymakers. They weren't wrong, it a lovely villa in a stunning location. Kalkan is a beautiful unspoilt town and the people are very friendly. We certainly intend to go back.

Best holiday ever at Villa Jade - and great value

We stayed at Villa Jade very recently, right at the start of the season in May where we had lovely weather. We were lucky enough to meet Emma who has thought of absolutely everything to ensure a very personal touch! The villa is brilliant value I think for the standard of accomodation and the breathtaking views over Kalkan bay. We didn't bother going to the beach clubs in Kalkan at all because we had everything we needed at Villa Jade. The managing agent Albay also checked in on us regularly and made sure that we felt very welcome. There's also plenty to do in the area on top of all the restaurants and bars, such as boat trips and the lovely beaches at Patara and Kapatus. (you must check out the ruins on the way to Patara!) I have to say that I couldn't fault the whole experience at all - Emma has done an excellent job and we will definitely be back!!

Fantastic Villa

We stayed at Villa Jade in April 2009. The villa and that view are even better than they look in the photos. Kalkan is a lovely unspoilt town with great restaurants and really friendly people. We would highly recommend a visit to this villa, the view can't be beaten!

All four of us had a fantastic holiday at Villa Jade. <br/>It is a beautiful villa and every bit as lovely as it looks on the website. <br/>Kalkan is definitely one of the nicest resorts in the area if not all of Turkey. <br/>the people in the town are friendly and do not harass you. The town is lively and fun at night but has no disco's or night clubs. If this is your first or 20th time to Turkey you will not be disappointed. <br/>Oh yes - about the 87 steps (up to go out and down to come home) they do help to combat the amount of food and booze you may indulge in.

I am always open and honest with my guests about the the villa, the location, ameneties etc. <br/>And, Yes..... the 87 steps, do give you a daily exercise to keep you fit on your holiday!!!. As Kalkan rests on the slopes of the Taurus Mountain Range many parts of Kalkan are on steep slopes, making large parts of the town unsuitable for disabled, infirm or elderly guests. Our Stay at Villa Jade

This was our first time at Villa Jade and Kalkan in Turkey and it was one of the most peaceful holidays that we have experienced. The villa itself boasts some outstanding and breath taking views of the bay and it is a fabulous place to enjoy your gin and tonic at sun down.. There are some lovely restaurants and bars to enjoy down in the village with some wonderful shopping too. It is the first time we have had a villa with it's own private pool and we will be booking the villa again with you. The experience was lovely. Villa Jade away from it all

my husband and I enjoyed a wonderful week that was truly away from it all. We couldn't fault the property or the views. <br/> we had everything we required.You cannot put a price on privacy and it was nice not being overlooked or having noisy surroundings. Kalkan town is near enough to access when you do want a bit more going on. You soon get used to the mini workout you get when climbing the steps, but don't let that put you off it's well worth it!. <br/>We will certainly be going back in the future.

Villa Jade - A MUST visit Villa

Villa Jade is a fantastic holiday destination. It is a well appointed Villa with the BEST views possible. You can literally swim in the private pool and look out over an amazing bay and the village of Kalkan below. Emma and Steve have equipped the Villa so well, there is everything you need and the accommodation is just brilliant. Two really good sized bedrooms with a balcony area on the first floor that is great for breakfast, plenty of living space and all air conditioned - a must in July!! <br/>The pool and jacuzzi are lovely, and the whole outside area is ideal for catching the sun, resting or simply gazing out over the bay - i often dream of that view and we loved it so much we are going back next year. <br/>Kalkan is a truly stunning village, many fantastic restaurants and at night it comes alive in a laid back sort of way - recommend the evening boat trips, great food wherever you choose and really genuinely friendly people. <br/>The Villa is a two minute car ride up the hill out of the village, easily accessible and close to a couple of local 'shops'. <br/>Brilliant, fantastic, well worth a visit - and i guarantee you will want to go back!

Excellent Experience

The whole experience of the holiday was excellent. From the stunning views to the harbour town, it was everything that we had hoped for and expected. The villa was in an excellent condition on arrival (and departure i might add) with great thought given to the welcome pack that we encountered. The peaceful nature of the villa, pool and spa mixed with the vibrancy of Kalkan made for a truly wonderful experience of "The Real Turkey". I have and will continue to recommend this villa to all my network of contacts friends etc and look forward to booking up in the near future. <br/>Thank you for the obvious time and effort that you put into making our stay a treat.

Unfortunatley my experience of this property wasn't good. I expereinced problems with the maintanance and intrusion at the villa. I followed the correct procedure of informing the agent whilst on holiday but the situation wasn't taken seriously or rectified. On arriving home I informed the villa owner who initially showed great concern but after speaking to her Kalkan based agent she vertually dismissed my complaint and made me feel like I was making the whole thing up. Customer satisfaction doesn't appear to register highly from either agent or owner which is a great shame as the property has magnificent views and is situated in a quiet part of Kalkan

Owners Response: I always take customer satisfaction very seriously, I send a customer comments sheet out to all my guests on their return home. So far this year we have had 7 families staying at Villa Jade over a period of 11 weeks, we have not had one complaint until this one. <br/> <br/>I was very concerned by the report of a problem at the villa from this guest once she had returned to the UK. I was also upset that my guest felt she was not taken seriously or the problem rectified. <br/> <br/>My home phone and mobile phone numbers are on all my literature and given again in the welcome pack at the Villa. I responded to her email immediately saying that I wished she had text / contacted me when she started to feel there was a problem, unfortunately there is very little that can be done once a guest has returned home. If I had been informed earlier I would have had the opportunity to draw the problem to the managing agents attention straight away. <br/> <br/>I have not dismissed this complaint, but have been confused as to why we had a problem all of a sudden. I had asked the guest to send me photos showing the problem if she had any, she says she has not. <br/> <br/>Before the guests left for my villa their flights were changed by the airline, through no fault of their own they had to stay on another night, which I allowed them to do at no extra cost to themselves, I feel this shows I do have a genuine care and concern for my guests.

Villa Jade

This was the first time I have booked a family holiday direct with the owner and this will be the way I book future holidays. The Villa was everything it stated and the views from the pool and terrace area were stunning. Emma was so helpful and thought of everything from the directions from the airport to the welcome pack that awaited us, that the whole holiday was so relaxing. The property was well maintained and had all the home from home comforts so if you didn't want to go out every evening there was an extensive choice of DVD's to watch. I would definately recommend to friends and will be returning ourselves in the near future. There are plenty of restuarants in Kalkan that you could go to a different one each evening and I would recommend hiring a Gulet for the day so relaxing and the crew friendly and knowledgeable and food delicious. We did hire a car which Emma arranged for us and did make use of it as we where up in the hills, however there are plenty of taxi's in the Kalkan area. Thankyou Emma for all your effort in making our holiday preparation go so smoothly, we had a fantastic time. Carmel, Rob, Becca and Charlotte.
