Having travelled to many places in France, all we can say was this was by far the best! When we arrived at the property we were stunned by how beautiful it was and the surrounding area was idyllic. Derek and Maggi were the perfect hosts making us feel very welcome. The cottage is equipped with everything you could ever need with lots of attention to detail and the pool was fantastic!
If you want a holiday where you can relax and get away from it all - this is the place to go. The location is ideal if you want to visit the coast and going to the Gorge du Verdon and Lac St Croix is a must. Cotignac is a wonderful place with lots of character and the local wine is the best!
We had a fantastic stay and are looking forward to returning one day. Thank you Derek and Maggi for a perfect holiday!

My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary here in June 2011. When we arrived we found that Derek and Maggie had left 2 bottles of local wine and bubbly to celebrate, including all the basics we needed to make a cup of tea etc. Derek and Maggie were perfect hosts and very helpful in advising on places to visit.
The Cottage did not dissapoint, the description and photos don't do it justice. Fabulous surroundings and very private.
The weather was 30 degrees outside and yet because of the thick walls of the cottage it was so lovely and cool inside. Cotignac is about 5 minutes in the car and you can walk it in about 45 minutes. Lots of lovely markets in Cotignac and plenty of restaurants/cafes to chose from. Lots of lovely places to visit, Mustier and the Lac St Croix, the Gorge du Verdon are a must.
We had a wonderful holiday and thank Derek and Maggie for their hospitality, we will be back one day. Thank you.

Les Cypres is a magical place in a stunning setting. We had a very relaxing fortnight, most of it spent in or by the pool. We did manage the occasional outing to the Gorge du Verdon, the wonderful weekly market and several of the excellent restaurants in town. But the house and garden are both so lovely that most of the time we didn't want to leave. We're looking forward to a return visit at some point...

The Hedges Family

This cottage is perhaps one of the most beautiful places I have stayed! The location is amazing, very secluded in the grounds with complete privacy yet close enough to get to the village to pick up whatever you need! The pool is lovely, ideal for cooling off in the heat of the south of france and so nice to have it all to ourselves. We were so very relaxed after just one week here and truly did not want to leave! Maggi and Derek are lovely hosts and we liked the cottage so much we have booked to come back again next year.

This lovely house has it all! Large, very attractive, sheltered and totally private garden with lots of places to sit, lie or dine in sun or shade, including he attractive and warm pool. The house is very comfortable and is thoughtfully equipped with everything you need. Derek and Maggie are warm and very helpful hosts. The surrounding countryside is very pretty - olives and vines and attractive villages. We had a relaxing and memorable holiday without straying very far at all.

A perfect cottage for a perfect holiday

A beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. Maggi and Derek provided a warm welcome, and have equipped Les Cypres with everything you could wish for. On the days when we managed to tear ourselves away from the pool, we had a great time exploring the surrounding area, including the stunning scenery of the Verdun Gorge, and lots of picturesque provencal villages. Cotignac, just a few minutes drive away, is a charming village with some nice restaurants, but you’ll want to spend most nights sitting out under the arbour with a glass of wine and some food on the barbeque.

We had a wonderful fortnight at Les Cypres. The house, gardens and pool were perfect and even better in reality than in the photos. The nearby town of Cotignac is busy without being too 'touristy' and has everything you need for a perfect holiday.
Derek and Maggi were on hand if you needed anything and their friendly advice was always spot on.
We visited local vineyards and lavender fields; we went to Aix en Provence and Avignon; we saw the beautiful villages around Lac de Sainte-Croix, but mostly we stayed in our beautiful surroundings at the house. We cant wait to go back! Don't hesitate - just book it!

Les Cypres exceeded all of our expectations. We felt as though we were in a movie. Stunning gardens and a fantastic pool. Derek and Maggi were wonderful hosts and haven't forgotten anything in equipping the cottage. A week wasn't long enough to explore this fabulous area. The inaugural La Camague was a unique experience. I'm still dreaming of the wonderful experience we had.

Les Cypres is a 'Hidden Gem' and truly 'Paradise-en-Provence'. Derek & Maggi are wonderful hosts and have paid every attention to detail to make Les Cypres a perfect holiday home. If you are seeking a peaceful and relaxing holiday in Southern Provence, then you need look no further! The local village is just a 10 minute drive away and has every amenity necessary. There are lovely shops, restaurants, cafes and bakeries, etc. Canoeing on the nearby river is a must to see kingfishers and herons. As school teachers we rate Les Cypres as 10 out of 10, an A*.

Fantastisch

Schitterend !!
