Bastille apartment

This is a smashing apartment. Ideal for 4 adults and 2 kids. We loved the kitchen, it has every utensil you need to cook at home, with so many great markets nearby it was great to cook local food in the well equipped kitchen. Home from home.
When we got up late and the local bakery was closed, the friendly staff directly across the road at the brasserie sold us fresh crossiants to take away.
If you wish to use the Paris bikes, there is station on the opposite of the main road, they are excellent, save you from sore feet and blisters, and you will see so much more of the city.
Were going back to this apartment for sure.

Wonderful Paris

We were a party of five adults and found the flat spacious and very well appointed. It is very close to Eurostar and with the metro a stones throw away all sights of Paris were easily accessable. The flat was clean, comfortable and certainly no need to take holiday reading with you as the flat is full of bookcases and plenty of travel guides to make the most of your holiday. The owner was friendly and very helpful. We would recommend this property for a wonderful break in this fasicnating city.

6 friends from Germany felt at home

Some of our group have been in Paris several times before. But this stay was the first in an apartment. It was a great experience and we will repeat that as soon as possible. We found everything exactly as it was described. The flat is excellent for 4 adults. Beds couldn't be better; modern, well equipped kitchen. A friendly livingroom. Very clean. Metro-Station just in front of the house, as well as shops and restaurants and once a week a market. We would recommend this location to a friend for a stay in Paris.

A cosy hide-out in Paris

This was my 1st visit to Paris. Getting to the flat by the Metro was easy if you follow the directions as supplied. The flat is a stones throw from the Metro station. Very convenient. The keys to the doors takes a bit of getting used to, but work great with the acquired skill. The flat is spacious, clean and well maintained. The six of us fitted in very comfortably. Access to the city was very easy. We sometimes walked, sometimes took the bus (convenient schedules, cheap, and they come nearby) and sometimes took the Metro. We did enjoy the walking most - you see so much more that way. Lots of easily accessible cafes, supermarkets, restaurants within easy walking range.
Late-night revellers did cause a bit of commotion with their loud conversations and laughter, but, hey! this IS Paris at close quarters.
I would gladly return here. Great value for my money.

April 2009 in Paris

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this clean and comfortable apartment. Everything you need is close to hand, bakers, supermarket etc. and the metro is literally over the road. The kitchen in the apartment is well equipped, but we did not use it much due to the abundance of restaurants close by. There is a good stereo in the apartment lounge area which has slots for SD cards and USB devices, very useful. The bathrooms are clean and well equipped, the showers are both good and quite powerful. Next time we go to Paris we will definitely try and stay in this apartment again.

parisian apartment life

We have visited Paris many times, but in the past we have always stayed in hotels. This was our first taste of Parisian apartment life, and we loved it. The flat was perfectly situated, close to a lively area with restaurants, (République- 5 minutes walk along a main street), the front door literally steps from a Metro stop with direct lines to central Paris, and within very easy walking distance of all necessary shops. Immaculate, well furnished and equipped, the flat was a perfect base for a family group like ours with 3 teenagers, and even the neighbours were friendly and helpful. Well recommended!

Property was ready on time. Very spacious and clean. Located in a safe neighbourhood. Landlord was very easy to deal with. Handy location with grocery store across the street, walking distance to Notre Dame and 3 minute walk to Arts et Metiers metro station. Free telephone calls and computer were a nice addition. I would recommend this property to anyone.

The apartments location is first class as travellering with two children. The close by metro station and the childrens play area just two streets away was great. Our stay was made easy by the owners flexiblity and the close by cafes are excellent. the twice weekly market near the childrens play area is first class for fruit and veg.
A visit to Jardin de Luxemburg is a great day out for families, as the play area is superb and is totally fenced in.
