My first impression was "Wow" the apartment was so beautiful. Judith really put her heart in this place. <br/> <br/>Luxpod is small but so cosy with the most comfy bed. Normally that's my problem when i go away, its hard as it is to sleep in new place and most places has old uncomfortable beds. But with Luxpod you wont have that worry, its like from home to home! <br/>I had a such a great time that i was sad to leave, but I'm coming back to stay in Luxpod again in December, i cant wait! <br/> <br/>The owner Judith is great to deal with, very helpful and will go out of her way to make your stay very enjoyable. <br/> <br/>From designers point Luxpod is very inspiring place, i came back home full of ideas......

What a great week in London we had. We were in town to see the Clapton concert at the Royal Albert Hall, which much to our delight was right around the corner from the pod. This property is located in the most stylish and trendy part of London and close to the subway station. It is a beautifully done property and I would recommend it for a single person as it is very small (but a very creative use of space). It has all the ammenities you would expect and the owner was awesome to work with. She went above and beyond to help us find our way.

It is amazing how many cool things can fit in such a small space! Judith, you have done a fantastic job with the LuxPod, we find it inspiring! And what better place than London for such an apartment :-) It is a winning combination!!! <br/> <br/>This little jewel was our home away from home for the short period of 6 days and we have enjoyed every minute of it. Huge thanks for all your help, we had a wonderful time here and will certainly come back soon!

We had a wonderful week at the Luxpod this April. The location on Gloucester Road is easy to reach by tube and perfect for any trip through London. South Kensington with its mews is a beautiful quarter, the parks are a 3 min. walk, the nearest tube station a 2 min. walk or 2 stations by 49er bus. Judith, the owner, is most friendly and helpful, she even stored our luggage in her own house through our stay. Contacting her was definitely no problem before and during our stay, answers were very quick and most reliable in every case. The description of the property you get in advance are perfectly true and reliable, so you know exactly what you get. The Luxpod is very small, but it is absolutely impressing what they did with this little space. The appartment is extremely intelligent refurbished, facilities are complete, luxurious and easy to use, so you have everything you need for your stay (and a lot more than that). Linen bed towels for example made our sleep much more comfortable than in most hotels we have visited. As the appartment is in the rear of the house, we had a very good sleep. Cooking with the luxurious Boffi Kitchen was fun, everything we needed was there, shopping (Waitrose) is very near. The Luxpod was very clean and everything in best condition. <br/>Gloucester Road has a lot of nice Cafes and Restaurants (Jacob´s, Ollins). The Gloucester Arms Pub is at the next corner, pub food highly recommended. <br/>We would recommend the Luxpod to singles and couples who want to have a very different stay in London, living in a beautiful, luxurious accomodation in one of the most attractive quarters of London. It was a pleasure to meet Judith, the Luxpod was worth every pound, the prices are absolutely reasonable.

I spent 4 nights in this studio. <br/>This is not a hotel! therefore the owner is usually my first concern. Second concern is the location! especially in a big city like London. You want to hang around, enjoy the night life in London until late without worrying about the safety when you walk home from the tube station. You want to stay in a place over night that you won't be disturbed by every noise made by your neighbors or from the street. Thirdly, You really want to enjoy above all with an affordable price in London Zone one. <br/> <br/>The Lux Pod has them all!! <br/> <br/>First class owner that offers you help during your stay! Super friendly! quick response from booking through internet to answering questions through text. <br/> <br/>The property itself has every factors you need for a comfortable short stay. It is pretty small indeed. In the beginning you might not get used to it. But when you get familiar to all the facilities it kindly offers, you can enjoy spending a whole day in the room without any problem. <br/> <br/>Finally, what I really love is you can share a piece of blue sky of London in the studio. It is beautiful when the weather is nice.

This was my first time renting a flat in London, and it was much more than I could have imagined! The owner, Judith, was super-friendly and helpful. Before I left on my trip, she sent me directions from the airport, choices for what could be supplied in the Pod, and answered every nit-picky question I had. The flat is very very s-m-a-l-l, but just perfect for one person (or two who are very close). As long as your plans do not include staying in, you will be thrilled at the perfect location of the Lux Pod. It is in walking distance of the Kensington High Street (great shopping), Victoria & Albert and Natural History Museums, as well as the tube (three lines). I could be anywhere I needed to be quickly and easily. Judith also provided great advice on eating and activities in the neighborhood and beyond. Overall, a great experience!

A perfectly appointed little space for the traveling professional or design enthusiast, the LuxPod offers all of the modern amenities you will need : free wi-fi, ipod dock, state of the art audio/tv system/phone, international power adapters and universal remote that controls almost everything. <br/> <br/>I stayed at the LuxPod for 4 days while scouting out London as a possible future residence, and couldn't have chosen a better location--very close to the Picadilly Line Gloucester Rd. Tube station that runs direct from Heathrow, walking distance to an abundance of great eating and shopping, safe to walk at night, and the building itself is clean, quiet and comfortable. <br/> <br/>The owner's desciption is very accurate, and she pours herself into making your stay as enjoyable and convenient as possible. Better than any hotel concierge! I received a wonderful welcome gift of fruit/treats, a Time Out London and discount at a local restaurant. She was helpful from the moment I inquired online about the space through my travel to reach London and even met me at the Tube station. <br/> <br/>There is a loft bed, which requires you to move and climb up a sizable ladder to reach the wonderful temperpedic bed atop, which should be considered before booking the LuxPod. <br/> <br/>The wetroom is just right for the space as well, no curtain or dividers separating the toilet, shower and sink, but the room is long enough to make things easy to use. There is a heated mirror and tiling and it is well-ventilated. <br/> <br/>A big experience packed beautifully and neatly, with function as well as form in mind, into a small space. I definitely recommend it not only for the space, but for the owner as well.

My wife and I stayed at the Lux Pod for an enjoyable 3 weeks .We highly recommend the space. The Lux Pod experience added to our trip. It is a beautifully stylish apartment that is clean and well maintained. The online descriptions are quite accurate. The owners were very responsive to our e-mail questions. The location of the Lux Pod is in wonderful neighborhood. <br/> The apartment really exceeded our expectations. It is small, but the space is well designed. It has so many luxurious details. <br/> The wet room (toilet/shower) was very usable. There is a good amount of storage for personal items. The heated ceramic tile floor feels so good! <br/> Using bed area via the ladder was easy and made a great place to read. Inside the Lux Pod was quiet and comfortable at all times of the day, even with the windows opened. I was in London for a grad school class and my wife is an artist/designer, our typical set up was: my wife at the laptop on the “ground floor”; me on the bed level reading. <br/> The Internet access was fast and reliable with laptops and even using wi-fi on our iPhones brought with us from USA. The music playback system has great sound and worked with my 2Gen iPod, Nano, & iPhones. <br/> The television is very beautiful, although we didn’t end up watching many programs. There was always too much to do in the neighborhood. <br/> The Lux Pod’s kitchen system worked out great for us. There is a very nice grocery store close by (Waitrose) and a very fancy one right across the street (Partridges). So we could have what we needed in the nicely sized refrigerator. Washing up was easy in the sink area, then just slide it closed and the sink is hidden away and the top is usable for other stuff. Admittedly we did not cook much because there are so too many wonderful places to eat close by. <br/> The neighborhood can’t be beat. We used the Lux Pod as our home base and to get some work done but spent much of our time either sitting under a tree in Kensington Gardens or just walking around the neighborhood and visiting the museums. I also really enjoyed jogging in Hyde Park. The Gloucester tube station is a short walk. <br/> The Lux Pod owners were very responsive to anything we needed including offering some great recommendations on restaurants and other stuff to do. They have created a beautiful piece of art to visit and live in for time. We hope to return to London and the Lux Pod very soon.
