Fantastic Stay at Sharonade!

Claire Lymm, Cheshire, United Kingdom.
Date Submitted: October 13, 2010 Date of Stay: September 2010
We stayed at Sharonade from 26th September for 9 days. Adrian the owner collected us from the airport, no hassle at all.
The villa is very well equipped and tastefully decorated. Really clean and well maintained. We were a party of 3 and a 8 month old baby. The villa was great for baby, lots of space to crawl around and in the evenings we had the monitor on so we could sit outside.
The villa is only a 10 minute walk from the beach with lots of bars and shops to stop off at on the way. A car really isn't necessary. There are many fab restaurants in the area too. You can eat as cheap or as expensive as you like with places to suit all tastes and budgets. We used the BBQ a lot in the villa. Having a young baby it was best for us to stay in most nights and watch the sun set over the mountains.
The pool is a really good size although it was a bit cold for the time of year we arrived but we still used it!

Sharon was really helpful with all the information before we arrived and even got us a little shopping before we arrived to get us started.

We will definitely book this villa next year, a really lovely place and a great resort for families!

Thanks Sharon & Adrian! Regards, The Coates family.

Best Villa in Javea so Far

ChrisHampshire Hampshire UK.
Date Submitted: September 10, 2010 Date of Stay: August 2010
We have stayed in Javea several times and this Villa is the best to date.
It manages to combine a lovely villa and grounds with the best location by far.
A short 10 minute stroll gets you to the main Arenal beach area which is usually quicker than driving and finding a parking space!
With tempaeratures reaching 40 degress the air conditioning provided some welcome relief especially at night.
Having our excellent hosts nearby was a great help and they were always very willing to offer helpful advice.
All in all a super stay and we will certainly be back to this Villa again and maybe even to their larger Villa with some friends!

Stunning villa, very private. Facilities very good. Only couple of small niggles like BBQ not cleaned after previous tennants and air con usage not fully explained until during our stay. Overall wonderful holiday, we thoroughly enjoyed it . Absolutely loved the poolside palm trees!!

Can't beat it!

What more can a family ask for in a villa. We took our son of 1½ & both sets of grandparents and could not have asked for a more perfect setting for our first family holiday. A major selling point for us was the lack of stairs, it meant our son could run about inside and out with no problems. Now saying the villa and grounds are spacious just doesn't cover it, there is tons of room by the pool, where you can either lie in the sun or in the shade under the palm trees (we wish we were there just now instead of rainy Scotland), there is table tennis, a large grass area and a car park space. The outside area also boasts a shower, toilet, 2 seating areas, fridge and a BBQ. Having an outside toilet and shower was great as it meant we were not walking through the villa leaving wet footprints, the fridge was great for drinks and the option of 2 sitting areas was a bonus as one was normally in the shade. The villa, pool and garden areas were very clean and as we had opted out of having the aircon on the owners had supplied fans in each room which was a life saver near the end of our holiday when the temperature rose. There was also the option of a cot and highchair which was really helpful for us. The villa is in a quiet location and extremely secure, we found this to be a bonus when our son went to bed and we were able to sit outside knowing he was safe. It is only a 10 minute walk to Arenal beach, with a selection of shops and bars on route. The beach is lovely and the promenade is great to walk along day and night with loads of restaurants to choose from. If you leave the villa and walk a few mins in the other direction you reach several supermarkets where there is a huge selection on offer. Sharon was great and helped us so much by organising the transfer to and from the villa, I can only imagine the stress if we had tried to do this ourselves. We were also lucky to be there when it was the fiestas of San Juan and was able to watch the amazing fireworks display from the villa. Finding another villa that offers so much will be extremely difficult and I believe it has spoilt us for future holidays. Thank you so much Sharon and Adrian, you made a holiday villa and home away from home.

happy times at sharonade

Sharonade villa provides all you could want for a super family holiday. We went as a family of four (two children aged 8 and 5) and another couple.
The villa is really spacious inside with a really good kitchen and living area if you needed to escape the sun for a bit of much needed air-conditioning!
The outside area is where the villa really excels. The pool was superb really clean and the outside shower and toilet really modern and very handy!
We tended to eat outside at the villa in the evenings enjoying the sun setting over the mountains and then walk or drive to the super beach bars. They all have huge candles lit at night and some have big leather beds to sit on. There were some really good restaurants nearby we particularly liked javea old town (market on a Thursday).
I would have no hesitation in recomending this villa to my friends and family.

Our Fabulous Family Holiday

We were welcomed by Adrian at the villa. The accommodation was very clean, spacious, modern and had everything necessary for a comfortable stay'. The outside area is where this villa excels. A beautiful pool, outside shower and toilet (very convenient), shady places to shelter from the sun and comfortable sun loungers. You can even have a game of table tennis under the palm trees.

The villa was down a quiet road and well within easy and safe walking distance (no uphill climbs) to the shops, beach and town centre.

We loved Javea which was quiet during the day but lively at night. Something for everybody in the family.

We are a family of young children and teenagers and we all enjoyed our stay at Sharonade. Would definitely consider going back.

Family Holiday

George Clooney Sheffield, England.
Date Submitted: September 03, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2008
This is a great villa to holiday at. The position is brilliant, a short walk to the sea front (I timed it at 5 minutes where there is a nice beach bar), 10 minutes from the main beach area of Arenal where there are many bars and restaurants and about 20/25 minutes to the port where again there is a nice selection of bars and restaurants. At night, Arenal is lively and bouyant while the port, because it's smaller is less so and more relaxing.
The supermarket is a 5 minute walk also with a really good selection of fish and fresh food and has everything you could need.
The villa itself was great and really well spaced out unlike many villas we've hired. The kitchen diner is really convenient when you want to get out of the heat. The two main bedrooms have aircon which we found essential, along with the lounge area.
The pool is a really good size with loads of space around it to lie away from the kid's splashes and there is a really convenient outside toilet/shower block. We got good use from the outside BBQ which is really handy. Plenty of sun lounges etc.
It's also located in a quiet location and is very safe.
Sharon and Adrian were very welcoming and hospitable.
We have stopped in many villas around Spain including Javea and because of it's position and quality of the villa, Sharonade is currently the best. We will recommend it to our friends and would definately come back.

Family Celebration Venue

Una amiga Cardiff.
Date Submitted: August 12, 2008 Date of Stay: July 2008
We were delighted with our choice of Sharonade for a family celebration. The villa, garden and pool more than lived up to our expectations - lots of space to have fun and quiet corners to relax, meeting the needs of the four year old, the singletons and the grandparents. We were pleased to find that the location was quiet and within easy reach of shops, bars etc. We could walk comfortably to the port, the old town and Arenal beach though not all in one go.
We enjoyed the evening strolls to the port which had more of a Spanish feel to it and used the local bus service to make our way home. We sampled many of the restaurants there at the water's edge and were lucky to see the spectacular local Moors and Christians festival.
The owners were extremely helpful and thoughtful in so many ways while providing transfers directly to and from the airport for us was a real boon and made for a totally stress-free holiday. I wish we could do it all again - now.

Sharonade - June 2008

Date Submitted: June 20, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008
It was lovely to be welcomed by Sharon on our arrival at the villa. The accomodation is very spacious and comfortable and we soon felt 'at home'. Comfy beds, big wardrobes with plenty of coat hangers and a great power shower in the ensuite bathroom. Having our own pool was a bonus and the outside area has shady places to shelter from the sun and comfortable sun loungers. You can even have a game of table tennis under the palm trees. There are tables and chairs outside too and a BBQ.

As the evenings became a little cooler, after the heat of the day, we retreated to the softly lit naya. Or you can sit in the garden, listen to the birds twittering in the trees and watch the sun as it disappears from view behind the mountain. Very relaxing.

It might be useful to have a car for getting to the beach, especially with small children. Plenty of places to eat too. The villa has everything you need for a good holiday.

This was a beautiful family vacation treat. The finca is much more than we expected. Sharon and Adrian could not have been more helpful and made this a holiday to remember. The first time I have rented a villa and would definately recommend to anyone else. They have another villa if you are looking for a larger one called the 'palm'. *****

Date Submitted: April 15, 2008 Date of Stay: September 2007
We stayed at Sharonade in Sept 06. Villa really is a properhome - recent photos show that rooms have been updated and master bathroom modernised. Garden area is very large and most importantly private - but YES the pool is cold! Sharon and Adrian were great hosts, arranging transport to/from the station to enable us to enjoy a couple of days in Valencia. Villa is very private and yet within short wlaking distance of good selection of restaurants in Arenal beach area - need to use car for those near the port area. Sharon - pool heating would make this an ideal place

We have just had a fantastic time at your villa, it's so convenient everywhere,. We walked and didn't feel we needed a car. It was nice to have a mini bus to collect us from the airport. The children have asked to come back next year and my answer to them was yes, if it's available. Thanks Sharon Dr Lee Cha 2005. One word describes Sharonade (Picturesque) we loved our holiday Lou 2006.My enduring memory of Sharonade will be that first glimpse I had as I opened the gate in the whitewashed wall. I honestly gasped with pleasure! The garden was a picture and my first impression was 'Yippee! It's as good as it sounded in the description!'We loved your finca. Spacious, very comfortable, lovely clean pool and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom that I have ever had the pleasure of sleeping in. In fact, all my best intentions of getting up early to enjoy the comparative cool of the early morning went right out of the window after a couple of days, simply because the bed.07

Sharonade und Javea – eine traumhafte Kombination

Dirk Flensburg, Deutschland.
Date Submitted: July 19, 2011 Date of Stay: July 2011
