My friends and I stayed in this apartment for nearly a week and even with 8 of us there was plenty of room. The location is great with barbican tube station 10 minutes walk away, a few restaurants and all the conveniences you could need within 5 minutes.

A 20 minute walk will take you into Islington upper street with lots of shops and places to eat.

I recommend this apartment as the ideal base for a stay in london

We stayed for 4 days in Cheryls apartment with grand parents. Nice stay and great to be able to be together instead of staying in a hotel. The apartment is central, modern and well equiped, but several small things need to be fixed.

I would definetly recommend a stay at Cheryl's apartment, it is well located, and one can get to all the main touristic sites with ease, it is clean and well kept too! We are already returning to London and it is a pity that Cheryl's apartment is already booked:) we would have really loved to stay there again as we found ourselves in a home away from home!! Thanks for the hospitality!!

Perfect place to explore London

Very nice and comfortable apartment in the heart of London, lovingly decorated and modern, central but calm, highly recommendable! We very much appreciated the two bathrooms and the large table. Plenty of room to store your belongings in the two bedrooms. Cheryl was very friendly and welcoming, providing lots of helpful information and assistance even to get our car parked. Everything you need is in short reach: small shop with friendly owners around the corner and a supermarket within a 7 min walk. The bus stop is very near and tube stations in a 10 min distance. Take a walk to St. Paul's and cross the Millenium Bridge after sunset!

An absolute joy

The hire of this apartment was perfect from start to finish. The photos show a wonderful representation of what you get but "in the flesh" the place is even better. I was staying in London for the weekend with my brother and friends and this place made our time there a fantastic one. Great decor, good location and a really lovely, personable, reception.
The living area is bright and spacious, yet very cozy in feel and both the bedrooms gave a very comfy night's sleep for all! Even with a relatively large group (there were 9 of us staying), there was enough room (and sleeping places) for us all to settle down and catch some shut-eye.
Everyone commented on how fab this place was and congratulated me on finding a superb apartment!
I really cannot recommend this place enough and will definitely be using it again for the next reunion. Thank you so much.

Our family of four(adults) spent a very comfortable few days in Cheryl's apartment. The photographs on the website give a fair impression .The kitchen and bathrooms are well equiped . Some essential snacks in the kitchen "mini-bar style"came in useful on arrival . The bedrooms are furnished with modern furniture and open onto the back terrace . The living room is spacious and comfortable with pleanty of light and overlooking the park
The location was centralbut not noisey. There is a grocers on the corner just opposite the bus stop.
Absolutely no complaints

Apartment was a good size for us (5) and we found all facilities we needed.
The property was clean with modern touches.

It's situated close to Angel Station (about 10 minutes walk) and close to the center of London.

Nothing wrong to say about our stay there ... if available, you should stay here.

We had a wonderful time at the apartment that is pvery central and conveniently located very close to two tube stations (both at about 10min walk distance) and has a bust stop just at the corner of the st.
The apartment is very modern and clean and has all the mod conf that you'll need for a nice short or long stay.
All the main London attractions are very close so you don't waste any time travelling.
Both Angel and Farringdon area have plenty of excellent pubs and restaurants and there are also many supermarkets and convenience stores nearby.
There is also a playground just opposite the flat, if you are travelling with children.
So all in all is an exellent flat in a perfect location.
I'll definetively recomend it and I'll use it again for my next trip to london.

A great stay in the heart of London

Apartment was a good size even for 6 of us. 2 in each bedroom, and two in the living room. The property was clean, and had nice modern touches throughout. A lot of care and thought has gone into this home. The complimentary tea/coffee, and paid minibar service was greatly appreciated. Saved us time and money. The local guide book came in handy also. We would have used the back terrace a little more had the weather been a little warmer.

Cheryl was amazing from start to finish. She has a knack for making sure your stay is a pleasant one. Very approachable, and willing to answer any question you may have. She recommended a pub that was quite nice and quite close by.

The property is close to Anglel Tube Station, and also not far from Shoreditch, and Smithfield. You can even walk to St. Paul's in about 15-20 minutes.

This is as good as it gets, if available, you should stay here.

I spent a week in London on business with an associate and could not have asked for a better apartment. It is in excellent condition with two large bedrooms and a large dining/lounge area and a kitchen with all facilities. Situated in East London close to both Old Street or Angel stations the area also had great bus services. I'd highly recommend it to anyone wanting a large well maintained base in that area for whatever purpose. The guys in the corner shop were very helpful too.

Appartment was spacious, clean, and well equipped: kitchen very well equipped! Great design, and everthing works!. 2 bedrooms with each a seperate bathroom makes it a wonderfull stay for 2 couples, families, etc. 6 people will be qiute busy I suppose, but still large enough.Very nice private terrace at the back of the appartment. Furniture tasteful. Very friendly and coöperative owner. Basic shopping within 100 meters. Very nice and quiet place. We had a very good time. The appartment is light and big enough to stay in confortably on a rainy day!
If it is available, we will come back here next time for sure!

Date Submitted: November 13, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2008
My family and I stayed in this apartment during the summer using it as a base from which to explore and enjoy a break in London.

It surpassed all our hopes and expectations, was stylish, modern and comfortable. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we could possibly have wanted during our stay. And with buses available just a few yards away that took us right in to the city it was the perfect way to make sure our London break was a success.

Comfortable, quiet and convenient location in pleasant neighborhood within walking distance of shops and tube, and most important, a short walk to the excellent Peasant pub with great food. Maybe a little sparsely furnished in the living room but worked out very well for my wife and our 23 year old son.
We did run into a slight problem with the water heater but found the owner very responsive and helpful in getting it taken care of.
