This was a very late booking for Viv and i, but if i had spent six months looking, i would not have bettered this Holiday. <br/>From the moment i first spoke with Andrew, everything was dealt with in a professional manner. <br/>As someone who knows albufeira, a villa thats location enables you to dip in and out of the old or new town when you like and escape back to the country just five minutes away is manner from heaven to us. <br/>Each morning, it seemed, Andrew or Ana had a new location and maps for us to visit, be it a perfect hideaway beach or great Fish Restaurant. <br/>The Villa itself is in pristine condition with a delightful private pool and garden area, satelite tv certainly helped when dining / having a night in. As others have mentioned, a car is a must, but the cost far outweighs Taxis returning to airport, nightly visits to town, trips to Lagos etc. <br/>We will be recommending to all our friends and i know we will be back soon. <br/>Thanks Andrew and Ana

Arrived home last week after our 2 weeks at villa eber. Great peaceful location. The apartment was spacious and immaculately clean, with a change of linen and towels throughout our stay. The kitchen was clean but basic. I would have happily swopped the dishwasher for an oven, although there was a BBQ in the garden .The pool was fantastic and a favourite with our girls. Andrew and Ana were extremely helpful and friendly and even handled our car hire which we would recommend. Albuferia and the locality are idealy suited. <br/>The towns were beautiful,the beaches were also fantastic. <br/>We had a really wonderful holiday! <br/>Tim, Michelle, Alice and Gabby

We returned from Villa Eber last week and wish to thank Andrew for making our visit such a happy one. The villa is delightful and well located, provided you have a car. It is immaculately clean and we were impressed by the changing of sheets and towels through our 10 day stay. Our one bedroom apartment was perfect for us and we enjoyed being able to breakfast on the balcony in the morning sun (with the cockerel quietly cheering us on in the background!) and have an evening drink on the 2nd balcony as the sun went down. The kitchen was well-enough equipped for our basic needs (quick pasta meals, omelets) but would not support cooking a 3-course meal as there's no oven - but you are on holiday, so who want to be doing that! Andrew was a font of local information and a great provider of idiot-proof maps to guide us. He was available and happy to help us whenever we needed, especially about local restaurants (we loved Tres Palmeiras - thank you Andrew). The villa is ideally located as a base for exploring the Algarve and there was always somewhere new to find, even though this was our 4th visit to Portugal. We look forward to returning soon and will most certainly make the Villa Eber our first choice to stay and have already recommended it to our family and friends.

My wife and I and twin daughters (11 months old) have just returned from a week at Villa Eber. I must say it was a great villa, beautifully maintained and great hosts (Andy & Anna) Nothing was too much hassell. We were welcome at 11p.m with 2 cool beers - exactly the refreshment required!!! They also drew maps to the best beaches <br/> <br/>I would recommend hiring a car (They can be pricey) but again Andy sorted all of this for us. We managed to fit all our things and twin buggy into a renault clio which was perfect for the week. <br/> <br/>There is now sky TV in the villa and internet access (An additional charge is applied for this) Note it is not wireless and apparently does not work with a macbook. In general WIfi is difficult to locate in the Algarve. We found a great place about 7km for the Villa called "Scooby's" they had swings and a park for our girls, wifi, swimming pool and great hosts. <br/> <br/>Back to the villa. It had nearly everything you need apart from a cooker, although there was a hob and microwave, still impossible to cook a pizza. <br/> <br/>Overall if you want a quiet retreat and are prepared to travel for restaurants etc (Not far about 2km) then villa Eber is the place for you.

Arrived back yesterday after a superb holiday. Andrew & Ana thank you so much for your hospitality. Even before we arrived after many emails I sent you, nothing was too much trouble. The Villa was spacious and spotless, the maid service was superb. The location of the Villa was just right 2 minutes in the car to all the Restuarants and beach, even a nice restuarant down the road which was recommended (nice to see you Frank & Ruth). Nice and peacefull setting would recomend to all our friends and family. However, we definately regret not arranging the car hire through you Andrew after the trouble we had. Once again thank you, thank you!

Frank and Ruth from Rutland visited this property on the 15/10/08. This was our first trip to Portugal after 10 years going to Greece. Into the unknown and were we impressed-yes,yes,yes!! There was excellent communication between Andrew and myself before we arrived. There was no hitch with the transfer from Faro to the Villa. The apartment was spacious and clean. The location in the countryside was what we needed;supermarkets,resturants and beaches were close at hand. I could have wrong the cockerel's neck, but this is country living!! The hospitality was excellent and we were made to fell part of the extended family.

Jenny and Alan......We stayed for two glorious weeks during August 2008, and can honestly say that it was the best holiday destination we have ever used. It was our first time on the Algarve and at Villa Eber, and could not have chosen anywhere better! <br/>The Villa was spotless and very comfortable, as well a being quiet and very relaxing. We were treated as friends by Anna and Andrew, who gave us lots of information and help as to where to go and eat especially for those "off the beaten track" places of interest and restaurants etc. We would not hesitate to recommend a stay at Villa Eber to anyone whether with or without children, as the whole experience is geared towards making any size of party a memorable one. <br/>We look forward to returning to the Algarve in the future and will definitely be booking back with Anna and Andrew at Villa Eber. <br/>Thanks Again, Jenny and Alan

We retunred to Villa Eber after 5 years and had a truly wonderful holiday again. Andrew and Ana made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Andrew had arranged for our car to be collected from the airport. The Hire Car Company were ready and waiting for us on arrival. The accommodation is excellent and absolutley spotless. It is in a quiet location outside Albufeira and is excellent if you want a relaxing holiday. I cannot recommend this highly enough. <br/>We would also recommend restaurant Concheira on the main road into Albufeira for good home cooking. <br/>See you next year!

We recently returned from two weeks at Villa Eber with our ten month old son. The appartment was spotlessly clean and very comfortable - very well set up for our requirements. The pool is a great plus. Andrew and Ana were very much on hand to check that we were ok and offer information and advice if we needed it. All in all, we would thoroughly recommend Villa Eber as a great place to explore the lovely beaches of the Algarve. Pete, Rachael and Samuel

We all had an excellent time here. Everything was very clean and well looked after. The accommodation was comfortable and the pool and gardens immaculate. The owners were very friendly and helpful and were very interested in making sure that our holiday went smoothly and that all our needs were met. This is a good location to stay as it was very convenient, with a car, to get everywhere. There were also good restaurants close by, using the car. The security was execellent as well.

I don't think we could have chosen a better place for our first family holiday abroad. Andrew and Ana were charming and extremely helpful and we cannot praise this holiday Villa highly enough. <br/> <br/>Our 2 bedroom apartment was perfectly clean and kept so throughout our 2 week stay despite my kids best efforts to make a mess. <br/> <br/>The location is perfect a mile or so from Albufeira itself and thus away from the late night noise and hustle and bustle of a holiday town. <br/> <br/>The ability to relax and enjoy a quiet day by the pool was most gratifying and satisfying. <br/> <br/>My family and I cannot recommend this Villa highly enough and would very much love to go back again. <br/> <br/>Thank you for a perfect Holiday.

A wonderful time in an incredibly clean apartment with the use of a pristine pool. The perfect combination of quiet out of town accomadation yet close enough to Albufeira to enjoy the beaches and evening facilities. Very close to major routes for access all along the Algarve. <br/>The owners are warm and friendly and display a genuine desire to make your stay enjoyable. Nothing seemed too much trouble and I would have no hesitation in rebooking. <br/>Met nice people to share some time with though to maximise enjoyment a car is a tremendous benefit particularly as local taxi drivers, whilst reasonable in terms of price seem to think it essential to thrill paying customers!

If you want clean and well-maintained, then this is the place you want to stay. It was cleaned several times a week and included towel changes. We are picky when it comes to cleanliness and were most impressed with the upkeep of this villa and its units. It is a bit out of the way but we came to appreciate that in a hurry. From the hustle and bustle of both "old town" and "new town" Albufeira, it was nice to come "home" to this villa; believe me, it felt like home. A car was necessary but even though that added to the cost, it enabled us to venture out on our own on a daily basis. Our host arranged the car for us and it was both delivered and picked up right at the villa, one certainly can't ask for more than that. <br/> <br/>We were met at the gate upon our arrival by our smiling host and from that moment, he assisted us whenever we had the need. regardless of what our needs/questions were. Believe me, we had many questions and one or the other answered or found us an answer within a day. Andrew was superb at drawing us maps, better than the ones we found in the store! Under his guidance, I daresay we never got lost! <br/> <br/>The villa was out of the way enough that we could enjoy a good walk daily without inhaling fumes all the way. We walked down country lanes all the while enjoying the scenery and the serenity that these lanes offered. <br/> <br/>We preferred "old town" to "new", more character and both were about the same distance from the villa. Our favorite restaurant was in old town, "TASCA" and it was atop a buildng and overlooked the ocean, beautiful! Taxi's were cheap (4 Euro each way) to town so if you only wanted to go to and from town and didn't want to rent a car, you didn't really have to. <br/> <br/>We drove up the mountain to Monchique which gave us a totally different view of the Algarve then down to what the locals call the "end of the world", where land meets the vast Atlantic Ocean in a lovely place called Sagres. On another outing we visited the most beautiful beach we have seen in our lives, Falaesia. This alone made our trip worthwhile and nowhere did I read that this beach was so awesome, it came from Andrew and we are still so grateful that he shared that with us, a truly memorable day. <br/> <br/>We stayed for two weeks and fervently wish we had stayed for 4. There is much to see and do and our hosts & this villa will be forever held dearly in our memories. If you are going to visit the Algarve, this is the place to stay!

Villa Eber was a superb choice for our family aged 18-80 as it catered for all our needs. The villa is sited in a peaceful location overlooking lovely countryside but is close enough to walk to the old Albufeira town or take a taxi. We would recommend hiring a car which Andrew can organise to see the surrounding scenic beaches or marinas. The apartments are clean and perfectly adequate although we could have done with a few more dishes and cutlery. The pool and surrounding garden area was superb. <br/>Andrew and Ana are extremely helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome. They were the perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble.We would recommend Villa Eber to our friends

Dear Andrew & Ana ...............Lorraine, William and I would like to thank you very much for helping to make our first family holiday one of the most enjoable weeks that Lorraine and I have had in many years. The villa was absolutely perfect. It was clean, well located and the neighbours were all friedly and quiet. The sun, food and beaches were so good that , for the first time, we shall be looking to return to the same holiday home - namely Villa Eber. We hope to be in touch very soon ...Shaun, Lorraine and William.........
