We had an absolutely fabulous break in Nice this summer. The weather was wonderful, and the apartment (Le Couperin) did just what it said on the tin.

It was spacious, well equipped and very conveniently located.

Peter and Sue couldn't have been more helpful. Meeting us at the bus stop and walking us from there to Le Couperin took away much of the stress from the first day of the holiday, and set us up well for the rest of our stay.

We made good use of Nice's excellent public transport: for the first week we bought a 7-day bus/tram pass for 15 euros. This covered the bus fare from the airport to the town on Day 1, and gave us freedom to explore lots of different parts of Nice and its immediate environs. Le Couperin was very centrally located, and we had absolutely no difficulty in getting to and from bus stops/tram stops.

There were some excellent boulangeries and charcuteries very close at hand. We made more use of these than we did of the many nearby restaurants. We found eating out in Nice this time around was quite expensive, but Le Couperin was extremely comfortable, and sufficiently spacious to make eating in a most pleasurable activity.

All in all, we would thoroughly recommend Le Couperin unreservedly. We'll definitely be going back.
