We reluctantly returned home to rainy Manchester after 2 weeks in the beautiful Algarve. <br/>Right from the start of the holiday we were immediately relaxed and felt welcome. We arrived at Faro to a Welcome text from Peter and then went to meet the Taxi at arrivals. <br/>When we arrived at the apartment we were met by Jose, who welcomed us and took us up to the apartment. <br/>Wow, is all I can say - we never got over how fantastic the apartment was for the whole of the 2 weeks we were in it. Just a real home away from home, everything we could have wished for and more. <br/>Everywhere was clean and tidy, the beds were comfy - our two boys (aged 5 and 8) loved the fact they had their very own en-suite. In fact in a rather boring way I'm sure I could go on for hours about the merits of the apartment and the complex. <br/>The pool was fantastic and a short 5 minute walk got you to the beach if the pool's not your thing. One of the only decisions we had to make every day was pool am and beach pm, and vice versa. <br/>The other tough decision happened each night, which of the numerous restaurants to eat in. Cataplanas became a firm favourite between the four of us. The boys ate clams, mussels, sardines and crab - now we're home they're not getting any where near as much variety. <br/>We will definitely be coming back, and can't wait to settle back in to the relaxed pace of Portugese life we have come to love. <br/>Thanks so much Peter and Anabela for all your help - we'll definitely be back (and will try not to lock the safe by accident within 5 miutes of being there!)

We have just returned from two weeks at this beautiful apartment, the first thing we said when we saw it was 'wow'. The apartment is clean, large,perfectly positioned and well equipped. The photo's don't do it justice. A short walk from the beach (short enough for my four year old to walk without complaining), and with a lovely clean pool it was the perfect place for our first trip abroad with the children. We all had a fantastic time, the communication with the owners has been brilliant, and I can't find anything to fault. My biggest disappointment is that I can't get in next year. Excellent

The apartment is clean and well-maintained. It's a nice wiew over the pool area. The pool and garden is very nice and clean. It's just a short walk to the beach. There are many beautiful beaches within walking distance.The description on the web is very good and accurate. The owners provided very good service to us. We are a family with to children and we all had a great time in Alvor and would recommend this property others.

The apartment is situated in a private secure complex apartment is conveniently situated within easy walking distance of both the town and beach It is spacious and well furnished and maintained and having two young children it was nice to have two bathrooms, one with a bath. The apartment has a prime location within the complex overlooking the pool, and has a large balcony with plenty of space for eating and relaxing. The owners Peter and Anabela were very helpful, and did everything to make the booking arrangements and our stay as smooth as possible, and will also provide a transfer service to and from the airport. Alvor itself is a lovely unspoilt fishing village with a fantastic beach and plenty of excellent restaurants, fish being a speciality. I would certainly recommend the apartment to anyone visiting Alvor and would definitely return here if we visit Alvor in the future.

Very spacious, clean and comfortable apartment with a great balcony overlooking the pool. The apartment is within a few minutes walk of a beautiful beach and the town with an abundance of excellent restaurants. Can't wait to return!

2009 was our third time staying here - It's like a home away from home, only better. Beautiful apartment and fab location. Hoping to return next year.

Peter is an absolute genleman to deal with any queiries were dealt with immeditely .The appartment was very spacious and spotlessly clean.Within a few minutes to both beach and Alvor town which in turn has an abundance of beautiful and very reasonably priced restaraunts. There is plenty of activities to do we have 2 children aged 6 & 9 and they loved every minute of the holiday especially the pool right outside the veranda. I would recommend the jeep safari with Portitours to see the real Algarve.Le Piazza located behind the pharmacy in Alvor is highly recommended the owner Victor is a very genuine happy character and the food is excellent. We all really enjoyed our time in Alvor and are definitely going back to stay in the same appartment.

If there was a category for Very Good I would have used it. The only drawback was the pool was out of order for repairs but the one on the adjacent complex was available and only a very short walk away. What a beautiful location. These apartments are ideally situated between the beach and the town with its quaint harbour and restaurants and shops. All only a short walk away. A short drive away are the busier resorts of Lagos and Portimao and even closer the fabulous beach ( best I've seen outside the Caribbean) of Praia da Rocha. The apartment was quiet, clean and spacious and ideally placed not to get too hot from the days' sunshine. I would strongly recommend this to friends. A hire car is very useful and Alvor is easily found only 45 minutes from Faro Airport. Loved it!!
