The apartment is in a word fantastic . You have everything you need and it is very modern . The pool is the best on the island and the gardens so large. We just could not have asked for anything more. The extras came in useful ie beach mats, cool box, beach towels etc. We visited most of the restaurants but the highlight was the Holders season . Anita arranged tickets for us . It is an experience you should not miss set in the grounds of Holders House the events ere excellent and the atmosphere magical. Next stop was the Polo we had never been before and it is a great social afternoon out. Anita & Dave took us to see their new villa in Speightstown it is everything you see in the photos and more with the high ceilings and so superbly decorated and furnished. We are going to be torn where to stay on our next visit . We highly recommend this apartment and the help Anita & Dave gave us in planning a great holiday

Why did we enjoy the holiday so much?
Top quality apartment1 with high standards throughout...a credit to the owners. Very modern furnishings and interior design gave an immediate feel good factor. Everything had been thought of and was tastefully presented.
Excellent management and help from the owners Anita and Dave.
Pre holiday help was very swiftly and efficiently dealt with and an excellent information pack was sent in advance.
Extra nice touches included some rum waiting for us on the dining table when we arrived and Dave going out of his way to get two tickets for the England v West Indies. cricket match before we arrived.
Anita also helped in other ways before we arrived to ensure that our holiday would go smoothly.
It was a pleasure to meet them both on a number of occasions and share a meal and a few drinks. We hope to be back sooner than later.

313 is a fantastic apartment in Golden View. It is perfectly positioned overlooking the pool and the gardens. The balcony is a great place to chill out in the evenings. We found the whole apartment is finished to a high standard and is complimented by thoughtful finishing touches such as the welcome pack, beach mats and towels. Anita & Dave were extremely helpful in providing advice on the best beaches, restaurants etc. We look forward to returning very soon!

Just back from a month in Barbados. The apartment was one of the nicest we have stayed in at Goldenview - Beautifully decorated, very comfortable - maid service a plus - anita and dave were very helpful - lots of extras that other apartments don't have - within short walking distance to stores, restaurants, beaches - lots of Barbados information in the apartment complex including wireless internet - the large pool was great - nice to come home to after a day out, or spend the day by - would suggest at walk to Zacchios for dinner overlooking the water and gorgeous Barbados sunsets - also swimming with the turtles from a catarmaran, and tours of the island on 4x4 jeeps - a great place to relax, re-group and get warm!! would highly recommend this apartment! can't wait to return and have already booked for future trip!

My wife and I have just returned from over 2 weeks in APT1. The apartment is fitted and finished to the very best standards. Everything you could anticipate is there and in good condition. It is in a lovely quiet setting and within short walking distance (10 min) of shops restaurants, banks and the beach. It is just as described in the Propery Details. Anita is very friendly, helpful and efficient. So if two of you are looking for a self catering holiday place in Barbados this is it.

We have nothing but good things to report about this apartment. The apartment was well furnished, clean, bright and comfortable. The pool and the grounds were well maintained and even better than the pictures. The location was good with beaches, bars and restaurants within a short walking distance. Anita was very attentive and helpful during our stay and Sophie came twice to clean and change out the towels. We could not have chosen a better place to stay and did and will recommend this apartment to others. You cannot go wrong here. Thanks Anita & Dave

We loved this apartment so much when we were there in October 2007 we are going back this October 2009. The apartment was immaculate with every comfort you could possibly need. We found everything about our stay perfect even down to the lovely view from the balcony over the pool to the perfect short distance from the lift back to the apartment. We enjoyed many different restaurants but our favourite was Champers in the South. We are really looking forward to this October as we are celebrating our 10th Wedding Anniversary

We have stayed in apartments at Golden View quite a few times but we have just had our first stay in this apartment. It is certainly the best we have stayed in. Golden View apartments are ideally placed just a few minutes walk from the lovely west coast beach and a small cluster of shops, which have everything you need without the need to hire a car. The apartment itself was lovely. Tastefully decorated, well maintained, clean, very comfortable beds and with lots of extra touches from beach towels to DVD and CDs to make you feel at home. An apartment we would definitely recommend.

Beautifully furnished, clean apartment in complex with large pool and very well tended gardens. All mod-cons in the apartment, a definite "home from home";Lots of car parking on site; Short walk to Holetown, with many restaurants and a good beach. Good location as a base to explore the whole of the island, but would recommend a hire car to fully appreciate all the good beaches and restaurants on Barbados.

The pack sent out to us at the time of booking was extremely useful, especially the tip about booking the restaurants before we arrived on the island.
The apartment was beautifully set out and very clean. As a family of four (2 boys aged 5 and 9) we could not have found a better base for our holiday. We will most certainly be returning to 313 in the near future!

What a superb place the apartment is so modern and stylish but still extremely comfortable . Beach is only 5 mins away with some great restaurants close by such as the Tides and the Lonestar being our favorites. We also spent some chilling nights in with a bottle wine and either a DVD from the huge collection or choice of cable channels. By the time we left it felt like home . Beats a hotel room any day .

This apartment was just fabulous, the decor was great and very comfortable with a good sized balcony. The location was great and everything you could possible need to be home from home. A good sized pool available which was fairly quiet and the beach is a 5 minute walk away.
Air conditioning worked very well aswell as the ceiling fans.
Good selection of upto date DVD's for our quiet nights in
Thanks Anita for the guide within the apartment, very detailed and very useful.
I had such a wonderful holiday, I will definitely be returning to Holetown in the very near future.

This was our third stay in the apartment - and it definitely won't be the last! We know Barbados for 29 years now and stayed at different places, but this apartment leaves nothing to be desired. Though it looked excellent before, the new kitchen and furniture are absolutely fabulous.
The apartment is very clean (thanks to Sophie) and comfortable.
We fully agree to the other reviews describing the surroundings. Shops / restaurants / bars nearby as well as the bus stop (for people without a car or a trip to Bridgetown).
Anita supplied us with very useful tips for diving and nice bars and restaurants. Thank you once again!
If you are interested in history, don't miss to visit St. Nicholas Abbey. One of the oldest plantation great houses, completely restored now in a scenic surrounding. The offer an exceptional good rum in special bottles with individual inscriptions - good idea as present. Sunbury Plantation shows an impressing collection of antiques - a self-guided tour through the house and cellars. Tyrol Cot - home of the first Prime Minister - is also worth visiting, especially the collection of original chattle houses on the ground.
We wanted to do some hiking this year - but three weeks went by too fast. Sorry Anita, we didn't try your "walk no. 1" this time - we'll save it for the next time.
All in all: Come to Barbados, stay in the wonderful apartment and enjoy a wonderful time!!!!

Situated in a residential area this complex is an easy walk to the West Coast Mall and Chattel Village. It is also close to a walk-in clinic should you find yourself in need of medical assistance. Many of the people in this complex are owners from the British Isles and Canada escaping winter. Short term renters like us were mainly from Canada, the US and Britain. Everyone at the complex was very friendly and happy to chat, The reception staff were also very friendly and welcoming. If you are looking for a place that is convenient, relaxing, friendly and quiet this is it.
We rented the one bedroom apartment looking directly over the wonderful swimming pool which at one point had been the largest pool on the island. Beside the pool is a Chinese restaurant which serves delicious food for lunch and dinner. The apartment itself was perfect for one couple - two couples might find it a bit tight, especially as the one bathroom is in the master bedroom. The bathroom has a huge walk-in shower and the bedroom offers lots of storage space and two very comfortable twin beds pushed together. The kitchen is well supplied and in the living room is a flat screen TV providing a wide range of channels. There is also a wonderful collection of movie DVDs and CDs to enjoy. The large and well furnished deck is a true delight and we used it often. We were in Barbados in January so there wasn't a great need for air conditioning but it is available (free of charge!) and we found the ceiling fans in the bedroom, living room and kitchen were enough to keep us comfortable.
The owners of this apartment are very gracious and accomodating and we were thrilled to be able to share a "sundowner" with them one evening at one of their favourite spots. Hopefully they had fun because we certainly enjoyed their company.
As we didn't rent a car we booked three tours through Johnson's Tours. Although we hadn't booked private tours each time it ending up being only us and the driver. Perhaps it was because we were outside the hotel zone. Should you book through Johnson's Tours ask for Ian, he was fabulous!
We highly recommend the Mount Gay Rum Distillery Tour, Oistins Fish Fry and the general island tour. We also did a catamaran tour with Cool Runnings, which was the best! Definitely make time to have dinner at the Tides Restaurant which is an easy walk from the apartment.
Everyone asked us if we would come back to Barbados and the answer is a definite yes!

This apartment is ultra modern, well maintained and has everything and more for a fantastic holiday in magical Barbados. It is situated in a fantastic location and there are fabulous beaches nearby as well as some great bars and restaurants. We ate at 'The Cliff',The Lonestar, The Fishpot all of which served food to die for and which can be reached very easily by taxi or car. There is a supermarket close by for all those supplies which you just must have ie beer, ice, champagne. The sunsets are amazing in Barbados and once seen never forgotten making a return visit a must. Anita and Dave have thought of everything to make your stay in Barbados a holiday never to be forgotten. The famous Sandy Lane is quite close by and there are some stunning scenary to digest on the early moring walks around Sandy Lane Golf course .
I would certainly recommend this apartment to all my family and friends. Everyone should visit Barbados once in a life time .

Apartment was absolutely superb and having been to Barados several times, we knew the area and our way around, but the accommodation was absolutely perfect for us. Property was superbly clean and shining, had just been re-furbished and was absolutely perfect. Very spacious and room layout was perfect with everything in the apartment that we needed. Location was a short walk to shopping, beach, restaurants. Maid service was every couple of days which was ideal and most of the time you are out, so therefore no inconvenience etc., The description of the Apartment built our expectations and we certainly were not disappointed. We would definitely have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone at all and intend to re-vist as some point soon. Allison & Douglas.

The apartment was exactly as described. The decor is superb , very modern and comfortable.
We were extremely lucky to have found it .
Sophia does a great job of keeping the place spotless clean.
It is a fantastic position over looking the pool and gardens and only 5 mins to town . The owners were very helpful in providing information on activities and restaurants. They advised us to book the restaurants in advance as it was a busy period and we were grateful of this or we would have been unable to get in or certainly not have had waterside tables.
Overall a fantastic holiday and we will definatley be returning
