Wonderful time in a special place!

We loved this home, it's clean, welcoming and tranquil. We have just returned from a 2 week stay and with the temperatures cooling in the evenings it was well worth paying the extra for pool heat, it was by far the warmest pool we have had in a rental property. There are some nice touches in this home, 2 bicycles, a computer and a very much appreciated welcome pack of basic groceries, enough to save a trip to the supermarket on the first night after arriving late and for a light breakfast the next morning. The property manager is on hand should you need her and we found her very helpful. Like all the other Florida properties we have stayed in you really need a car to get out and about but there is a lot to see and do with many restaurants and shops, golf courses, beaches and parks within easy reach. If you're into fishing try the Sunshine Skyway bridge, Hart's Landing in Sarasota or Bridge Street Pier in Bradenton. <br/>Our thanks to John and Lynne

A real home from home

Beautiful, clean house in a lovely, peaceful setting. The welcome pack had some unexpected treats such as delicious muffins. It was nice that there were essentials in the cupboards as well such as herbs and spices and even marmite! We also found the computer very useful - much better than having to bring our own lap top. <br/> <br/>Our two boys really enjoyed the larger than average pool and made friends with the local ducks and squirrels. We also appreciated the buckets and spades and beach chairs as well as the cool box which got used a lot. <br/> <br/>The Bradenton/Sarasota area is really beautiful with excellent beaches. Tampa is within easy reach and Sanibal and Captiva, although slightly farther away are well worth visiting (especially if you like dolphins). Watching the sunset from the beach is something we did quite a lot, it seems to be a very popular pastime on the gulf coast. <br/> <br/>We enjoyed all the restaurants that we tried in the area. One of our favourites was MacAllisters in Lakewood Ranch. We would also recommend the Mucky Duck in Captiva and Sharkey's on the Pier in Venice. <br/> <br/>We enjoyed our time here so much that we wished we had booked two weeks instead of one. We will definitely be back next year and are planning to emigrate to Sarasota within the next few years.

Book early to avoid disappointment

We have just returned from 3 fantastic weeks in this home. From the minute you arrive you know you've made the right choice. The welcome pack is only one of many little touches that make this a perfect base for your holiday. For our time there it really was our home in Florida. Lynne and John have thought of everything their guests could need. The villa is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, great pool, fab location, plenty of restaurants and shops to spend your dollars and we hope to return in the future. Take a look at the bookings for this home all those grey lines don't lie. We have recommened this villa to friends but it was already booked for their dates. Thanks Lynne and John for sharing your home.

Bradenton Summer Paradise

We would reccommend this villa and area to anyone. Our stay from the beginning was excellent. Thanks to John and Lynne we were well prepared for our trip. We were provided with an excellent CD of the villa and e-mails in repsonse to our questions of things to do and places to see. <br/>On arrival at the villa we were met by Carolyn who was most helpful and freindly. We also found the welcome pack helpful as we were not wanting to shop on our first night. <br/>The house and pool was brilliant, very clean and well equipped we found very useful the beach gear in the garage and pool toys. <br/>The area of Bradenton is the perfect base for exploring such a beautiful area, we found the people from the Gulf Coast very freindly and helpful, we will sure go back. <br/>Check out the State Parks, rent a boat and enjoy Dolphin watching, or take a sunset crusie in Purto Gunto. <br/>Overall a very enjoyable holiday we would not think twice about returning to this wondeful villa.

Magical place to stay in a beautiful setting.

This is a most beautiful house in a lovely peaceful setting. The house was very comfortable and clean and more than lived up to the description. Carolyn was very friendly and welcoming and it was just a perfect holiday. It is very well situated for the I.75. and easy to get to from Tampa Airport.John and Lynn were very helpful and quick to respond to any e-mails we sent them and provided excellent customer service. It was a pleasure doing business with them and we would have no hesitation in recommending this property to friend and family. Apart from all the previous reviews we would like to recommend the Miller Dutch Kitchen on the 41. (Tamiami Trail) the service and food was second to none. All in all this was a lovely property in a lovely setting and thanks John and Lynn. We would love to go back. The welcome pack was great thanks.

"Simply the best."

First impressions are very important and from the moment we entered the villa we knew we had made the right choice. Everything was clean and well presented and there was plenty of cutlery, crockery and cooking utencils etc and when we opened the frig the wellcome pack was the icing on the cake.The entertainment systems, TV's, DVD player, Playstation etc were all provided as advertised and the PC was also very useful for keeping in contact with the family at home.The pool and surrounding area was excellent and very well furnished, just the place for eating or just soaking up the sun. We have been renting villas in the Bradenton, Sarasota and Englewood areas of Florida for twenty years and this is the best so far.We were contacted by Carolyn, the local property manager, shortly after our arrival and she was most helpful. The location of the villa is ideal for shopping at the Ellenton Outlet centre, the Red Barn flea market,the De Soto Mall or even St Armands circle. Eating out is no problem either because apart from all the well known restaurants there are many others well worth visiting. A few or our favourites are:- The Peridia Golf Club for Sunday Brunch, The Bluewater Grill with live jazz most nights, The Stonewood grill, two locations, Cortez and University, The Beachhouse and Rotten Ralphs, Anna Maria Island, Hemmingways at St Armands Circle and if you would like an "All you can eat Buffet" go tro the Golden Corall on Cortez The exact locations of all these restaurants can be obtained from the PC. We are very grateful to Lynne and John for letting us share their wonderful home and we have already booked another visit in the autumn.

Our family enjoyed the whole experience of this villa , including the friendly and informative booking process with the owners John and Lynne. We were sent a video CD of the house and excellent directions and information on the villa. <br/> <br/>When we arrived it met all of our expectations and more , and felt more like a home than a vacation house. We found it very peaceful sat around the pool and the villa was in a good location to see local attractions , with Restaraunts and Supermarkets nearby. <br/> <br/>Once again many thanks to the owners John and Lynne.

The previous reviews do not overstate this Villa. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. The villa is very well looked after and has all the features you would like. Easter in Bradenton

We have just returned from a wonderful week in Bradenton. The villa was absolutely perfect. John and Lynne had thought of absolutely everything. The pool was so warm (and exceptionally clean) my boys were in it most of the time. The location was fantastic. With the selection of maps and computer with wireless internet, we were able to book things in advance and plan everything ahead of time. We loved the beach and the men loved the golf and it was always nice to come back to the villa as it just felt like home. We will definitely recommend the villa to friends and will be back ourselves too. Thank you both.

My Families Experience

I found John and Lynnes villa a lovely home for my families holiday, with a four year old daughter and a 8 month old son it certainly was a benefit to have a lovely pool, which was completely child friendly with the safety fence. The location of the villa is very central to beaches and all amenities (Publix, Walmart and plenty of lovely restuarants) my parents particularly enjoyed the "Bonefish Grill". The local beaches are only a short drive away and are beautiful, we also enjoyed the disney parks which are only a couple of hours away. I would definately recommend the villa and hope to use it again in the future. John and Lynne were very welcoming and the information they provide regarding the villa is comprehensive. Our lovely holiday was enhanced by staying there like home from home. Many thanks John and Lynne.

Rented this home for its location and after seeing pictures and rave reviews. Had very pleasant email exchanges with owners before our stay. Stayed a week in this wonderful pool home. Greeted by a welcome basket and had owners call, they day after our arrival, to make sure everything was to our liking! Local manager, Caroline, was very accommodating. Would be hard pressed to ask for more… really! <br/>Plently of room for the 3 adults and 2 children of our party. The heated pool was a treat! <br/>We made this home base for our many children entertaining day trips (Busch Gardens, Mote’s aquarium, Sea World, Airboat ride, Siesta Beach, Caspersen Beach (for shark teeth), Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary… Would have needed more time. <br/>Highly recommended! Thanks John and Lynne for making this a stay memorable! Hope to repeat. <br/>Steve and Jacynte

Anyone reading this, looking for a 3 bed 2 bath villa in the Bradenton area, LOOK NO FURTHER. <br/>We have just returned from a great week there. The villa is spot on and in a very quiet area. Everything you could hope for. Pool was great and my son kept in touch with his friends using the free internet access. <br/>Bradenton is an ideal place to stay if looking for somewhere on the Gulf Coast. Tampa, Clearwater, St Petes, Sarasota, Venice, all within easy reach along I75. You're spoilt for choice if wanting to eat out, shop, have a beach day, etc. <br/>If you decide to go, ENJOY.

We are 3 golfers who have been renting this property in January for at least five years. It is situated quite close to a number of excellent courses. The house has always been in perfect condition, very comfortable and well equipped. The neighbourhood is quiet and of homogeneous quality, having no doubt been built over a short span of time. We are returning next year.

What a fantastic holiday we had!!

Well what a fantastic holiday we had! The accomodation was 5*, very well equipped, beautifully decorated and the pool was excellent, we loved the views of the lake. Great location to visit nearby attractions. <br/> <br/>We have not been to Florida before so we did not know what to expect, and I think we have fell in love with it. Perfect Holiday

After one week in the Orlando Area, we travveled to the sarasota area. It is a lovely location and close to a lot of Beaches and the Cities Tampa and St Peterburg. <br/> <br/>After a day in the town or at the beaches it's great to relax at the villa with private very clean and well maintained pool. <br/> <br/>The entire experience with John and Lynne is great. from the start it was very well arranged. The information about the villa and the booking was arranged very quickly and in a proper manner. The key collection details and arrival at the villa was superb. Everything is within reach and the villa is very well maintained and has all the facilities onewould need. After arrival the owners take pride in calling to check if everything is in order, even the property manager dropped by to check if evrything was ok. <br/> <br/>It was the most relaxing holiday we could have wished for. I could recommend this place to anyone and would most definitely go back for another holiday.

A fantastic place to relax

Andrew, Susan Nicola and Kirsty, Edinburgh, Scotland. <br/> <br/>My husband and I had a fantastic week in Bradenton in July with our teenage daughters. The villa is perfect and is the most comfortable holiday home we have ever stayed in. The villa is beautifully appointed and in first class condition. Everything you could think of to make the villa a real home from home was provided right down to sunbeds and umbrellas for the beach . Plenty of beach towels were provided for the pool and beach so no need to pack your own. A welcome pack was provided with all the essentials for your first day which was a lovely touch although plenty supermarkets are loacted close by. We were also re-assured by the call on our first morning from John, the owner and their representative in the area also popped by to check everything was going well. <br/>The pool was wonderful and was the perfect spot to unwind and soak up some sunshine at any time of the day or to watch the local wildlife in the evening or enjoy some alfresco dining. <br/>The villa is ideally loacted to enjoy the beaches of Anna Maria Island and is a 10 minute drive from the Ellenton Outlet and 15-20 minutes from the delights of Sarasota.There are lots of lovely restaurants and the visitors book in the villa is a great source of information on the best places to go from boat tips to meals out and bowling alleys. <br/>We really hope to come back again soon but plan to stay longer next time because there is such a lot to do.

Fantastic Location for further travelling!!!

This was my second time to the States and my first time in the Sarasota area. <br/>After spending a week in Orlando, it was fantastic to get away from the tourist area and experience the beach, the private pool and the lovely scenic sights of the local area! <br/> <br/>I'd first of all like to thank Lynne and John for allowing us to rent their fantastic home and the welcome pack was most generous and much appreciated after a 2 hour journey from Orlando. <br/> <br/>The highlights of the holiday was the fact that I was able to wake up and jump straight into the pool for a morning swim before breakfast!! <br/> <br/>I am looking forward to going back next year when we plan to spend a week at your villa and hopefully jump on a plane and travel across to the west coast of America for another week, as the house is within easy access to Sarasota & Tampa airports. <br/> <br/>Thanks for a memorable holiday and hope to contact you soon for another booking!

We had a marvellous time at the villa, it is central and accessible to all the Gulf Coast areas. The web pictures do not do it justice it is "SIMPLY THE BEST" clean well appointed and with a very helpful management lady called Caroline. The villa is private,not too close to neighbours and screened with plants and bushes on either side,it backs onto a river that is home to all sorts of wildlife and squirrels. The pool has the sun all day with plenty of shade for too hot days. There are many restaurants to choose from, this was unfortunate as we all put weight on. <br/>We went on the Sarasota Segway bikes, very interesting but sore on your legs. <br/>Jean, Ruth & Nan

WE HAD A WONDERFUL STAY

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The house is lovely and the pool was very, very nice. We had a nice relaxing vacation and everything we needed was right there. The phone call to check on us, and the gift basket of food items, made us feel right at home. We had a 3 year old and a 6 mo. old baby, and we did not have to worry about them around the pool area at all with the fence that is there. The baby crib and high chair that were provided were very nice. The owners definately go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need and anything else you may need is very close by.

Fantastic villa in florida

The villa was a fantastic experiance. It was everything that the owners described. I have been renting villas for ten years now and in my experiance this is one of the nicest and well looked after that I have ever stayed at. The owners are very professional with a courtesy call to ask if we arrive ok and our security deposit arrived very prompt. <br/> <br/>All in all a very nice time and I would definatley go back <br/> <br/>thanks guys <br/> <br/>mike

Great House! Great Location

After the hustle and bustle of Orlando it was great to get to this house in Bradenton and discover the Gulf Coast beach life. <br/>The house catered for all our needs and more. Indeed, the house description and video-cd provided by the owner was very accurate and we were not disappointed at all. The house is kept very clean and is well looked after. <br/>We experienced many of the local restaurants, including Bonefish Grill, Cortez Kitchen and The Sun House, all of which were recommended in the Guest Book in the house. <br/>We are looking forward to returning June 2008, where we hope to experience even more of the surrounding area.

Beautful villa, beautifully quiet location

We had a wonderful holiday and I can honestly say that it is the best equipped villa with the comfiest bed that we have ever stayed in! It was beautifully clean and sweet-smelling and equipped with everything you could need, even curling tongs! <br/> <br/>We really appreciated the welcome pack, all the beach stuff, and having access to the internet was brilliant. We could plan our days so easily with all the info at our fingertips. <br/> <br/>The villa is also in such a lovely quiet location - we were never disturbed by any noise - in the fact the loudest thing was probably birdsong and crickets! Each morning we'd look out over the lake behind the villa to see the herons, squirrels and other wildlife. <br/> <br/>Bradenton is a great area as you have good access to Sarasota and Tampa, both of which have some wonderful attractions. Within 30 minutes drive you can visit a state nature park and see alligators, go to a white-sand beach and watch pelicans and dolphins, or visit world class art galleries. <br/> <br/>A car is essential but the roads are very spacious and easy to drive on. We also rented a satnav from the car hire co. and would have struggled without it as the motorway road signs aren't as good as the UK. <br/> <br/>It was our first time in the States and we had an unforgettable holiday.

Super Haus in toller Lage !!!

Wir können dieses Haus voll und ganz weiter empfehlen !!! <br/> <br/>Wir haben mit 6 Personen ( 4 Erw., 2 Kinder )16 Tage dort verbracht.Es war einfach alles super. Ein Klasse Haus in einer sehr ruhigen Lage.Von der Terrasse schaut man direkt auf einen kleinen Seeauslauf mit herrlichen Sonnenuntergang. Der Pool ist Solar beheizt, daher auch in den "kühleren" Monaten sehr angenehm. Poolspielzeug ist ausreichend vorhanden.Im Haus haben wir uns auch sehr wohl gefühlt, da es uns an nichts gefehlt hat. Die freie Internetnutzung haben wir sehr genossen. Der Kontakt mit den englischen Eigentümern war sehr angenehm. Vor Ort gibt es einen Support durch eine Managerin. <br/>Auf Wunsch gibt es vom Vermieter eine kostenlose Video CD mit Bildern vom Haus und der Umgebung <br/> <br/>Das Haus liegt ca.10-12 Meilen vom Meer entfernt. Mit dem Auto fährt man ca.20 Minuten zum Strand. Sarasota Stadt erreicht man in ca.10 Minuten. Unsere Favoriten bei den Stränden waren der Coquina Beach südlich vom Bradenton Beach, sowie der Siesta Key Beach. <br/> <br/>Wir werden wohl bald wieder kommen... <br/> <br/>Christian and family from Germany
