We have recently returned from a fantastic holiday staying in your beautiful villa. To start on a slightly sour note, due to some sort of mix up we arrived on Friday afternoon to find the villa had not been cleaned after the previous occupants. However after a call to the management company they arranged to send cleaners within the hour. This did take longer and we were advised to go and eat and were promised it would be done on our return. When we returned the cleaners were still there and were most apologetic. Also we were disappointed not to be able to gain access to the on-deck toilet the door being locked and no key available.

Now for the good stuff. Once cleaned the villa was beautiful just like the pictures. It was furnished to a very high standard and very comfortable. The pool was great and the lanai was a real bonus, it provided much neeeded shade when it was really hot and enabled us to be outside even when it rained. The villa is in a great position and we really enjoyed sitting outside in the early morning watching the wild life and the hot air balloons drifting overhead.

During our stay we visited some of the theme parks, went on an airboat ride and had a day at the Kennedy Space Centre, the location of the villa meant it was very easy to get to all the attractions.

Shopping and dining were great with a supermarket and lots of restaurants within easy distance.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have recommended it to family and friends. We would certainly like to visit again sometime in the future.

Having vacated the villa on 10 July 2009 we hope to have our security deposit returned shortly.

A fantastic holiday experience in March 2009

My husband and I spent a fantastic 10 days in this villa (a little excessive for just the 2 of us) but we made a last minute booking and loved the idea of all the space.
The villa was superbly kitted out, the rooms very spacious and airy. The decor was just to our taste, homely but modern.
We would recommend this to families and couples/friends alike. There would be plenty of space for everyone with the extra TV room downstairs and reading area upstairs.
Leave your theme park brochures at the house once you've finished with them as we found them very helpful but recommend that you take an up to date guide book.
Easy, direct access to all the theme parks and strongly recommend making the longer journey to Kennedy Space Center - you can take Kayak trips around the nature reserve (do this early) before spending the rest of the day at the Center itself.

Dear Guy

We have just arrived back after spending a wonderful holiday in Florida staying at your villa.
Your Florida home is just as described on your website, very well equipped and beautifully clean.
Calabay Parc is a super location, convienant for all the local attractions and the position of your villa over looking the conservation area gives great privacy when using the pool.
As you know we previously owned a villa quite near to your own and we always thought of our own property as being lovely but yours surpassed even this.
The booking proceedure from start to finish was easy and uncomplicated.
We look forward to visiting Florida Bijou again in the not too distant future

Christmas and New year at Florida Bijou

Florida Bijou was fantastic, there was plenty of room for my family of 7 adults and 2 children. The house was beautifully clean and furnished to a very high standard, the laundry room was a real bonus as well. We used the BBQ a couple of times which was great, and the children loved the swimming pool and the adults enjoyed the table tennis table. The management team were really good and gave us some good advice. The restaurants locally were excellent, we even managed to find one open on Christmas day! You would need a hire car, but it was so easy to travel from the house to all the attractions, Disney was just 20 minutes away . There was plenty of room on the drive for 2 hire cars .We all really enjoyed our holiday and would not hesitate to recommend the house to anyone. Booking was very easy and communication from the owner was excellent.

One of the very best - highly recommended.

Having taken our holidays at many rental properties over the years on our numerous visits to Florida, this villa has to be one of the very best that we have had the pleasure to stay in.

Looking at the description and photos on the Holiday Rentals website, the villa looked perfect for our family party of six - a mix of young and not so young!

And it was.

Booking was very easy and we found the owners a pleasure to deal with. They had our dates available - so all we now wanted was to get there!

We noticed as soon as we arrived at the villa that unlike may holiday homes, "Florida Bijou" had obviously been furnished to a very high standard with many extras and nice touches that made most of the other properties look bare and uninviting. Every room was spotless and nothing was out of place; a credit to the owners and their Management Company.

The villa is spacious, with large bedrooms, good sized bathrooms, a huge open lounge (with a just as huge TV) and a pool area that we found hard to tear ourselves away from; this is the real "jewel" of the villa. The large pool deck had plenty of loungers & chairs for us all. Was usually bathed in sunshine throughout the day on our visit, although we did retreat to the covered lanai for some shade when things got too hot; took many a dip in the nicely formed pool as well. We loved the outlook from the deck, with no adjacent properties being too close for comfort.

The villa is located in Calabay Parc, a community located adjacent Highway 27 and in what we have become to firmly believe as being at the "right end" of the cluster of existing and new developments along the 27; go further north and you become a little isolated. Calabay Parc is at the "south end" as we call it, so it's close to Interstate 4 and Country Road 532 (Ronald Reagan Parkway) where, at Champions Gate, you will find a superb Publix Supermarket, a Subway, gas stations, etc. The community is well placed, nicely laid out and maintained to high standard - all good reasons why we are attracted to it.

So to sum up, we found that "Florida Bijou" met our needs perfectly and made our holiday the pleasure it was; we appreciated the attention to detail that made our stay something a bit special.

We are already arranging our return visit; we do not want to be disappointed should we choose somewhere else.

What can I say !!!!!!!!!! The house was exactly as described and more...... I went with my daughter, her partner and four grandchildren and we all agreed it was the best.
The house was immaculate, and so spacious we could have taken a couple more families with us and still have had plenty of room. Everything that we could possibly have wanted was there including every phone number that we would need, except for the child size shoe horn we needed to either prise the grandchildren out of the pool or the games room..... We were only about 15-20 mins away from all resorts which is brilliant as you didn't get the " are we there yet" bird chorus.
And as for eating places all where only a short five min drive away the hardest part was choosing which one to go to, and everyone was soooo friendly.
I would and have highly recommended this property to everyone whether they are going to Florida or not. I could have quite easily stayed there I would say it was like home but I won't as it was better. If you go ENJOY..... it's amazing...

Uk Family Holiday Review

I took my wife and two children aged 6 and 12 to this property for two weeks in August 2008.

I can't recommend this property highly enough. It was spotlessly clean and increadibly roomy for 4 guests. It would have easily been big enough for 12 if our family had been that large!

It is only approximately 20 minutes or so from Disney and the other parks. We took 1.5 hours to get to the Gulf Coast and it was 30 minutes from the airport.

Locally there are plenty of shops and restaurants for eating out etc. but we also made use of the various local delivery options from Chinese to Burgers. Sometimes you just don't want to cook or drive!

Great pool and covered so you get no moquitos or other beasties to worry about. The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge had an amazing 50" TV with surround sound and a DVD player with lots of DVD's at the property to watch.

There was even a Playstation in the kids bedroom with games and lots of books and board games to use also!

I would recommend this type of holiday rather than a hotel as you have space to chill out, do as you please and if the weather turns nasty you can always watch a movie on the comfortable settee!

We loved it, already looking at booking for next year!

What can I say!!!! The holiday we had this year was fantastic. It exceeded our expectations in every department. One thing that we are all agreed on as a family is that the house made the holiday for us. It was like going home at the end of a hard days playing!! It was so fantastically equipped, beautifully decorated and furnished, that there is absolutely nothing negative to say about it.
If we as a family had to score the house out of 100 we would give it 1000!!!! I know this may sound over the top but we could not recommend it enough. It was Perfect!! The house, the location, the decor, the pool we really could not praise it enough.

If you are looking for somewhere that is home away from home and conveniently located for all the parks then this is the place for you!!
