TRULY FABULOUS

We cannot really add anything to previous reviews, except to confirm what a lovely apartment this is. It is a delight because it is so well equipped, is very, very clean and has the best balcony of any place we have stayed in. We love this area and love Linda and Janet's apartment, and would recommend it to anyone.

Torrox Costa property

5 star quality accommodation in every sense. The terrace is the size of a small garden, with a fabulous sea view and is particularly impressive. The interior is attractive, comfortable and well furnished. The location is excellent for exploring the surrounding area. Nothing could be faulted at all!

Recommended for: Sightseeing, Girls Getaway, Age 55+

Our Stay at the Casa Don Quixote May 2009

We stayed at the Casa Don Quixote for two weeks in May this year 2009 and I have to say that we had a fantastic holiday made all the more memorable by the fantastic villa we stayed in. Linda and Janets Casa Don Quixote was more than equiped with all the things we needed including towels, beach towels and bath robes. We were met by Richard and Sue who were very helpful and always on the end of the phone if we needed them. The view from the balcony and surrounding area was quite stunning. The villa is within a small complex of villas so the shared pool felt like it was our very own. The villa was quite stunning, tastefully decorated, very clean and well maintained. We were contacted by the owner during our stay to see if everything was okay and we felt we were provided good customer service. We would strongly recommend this property. We enjoyed our stay so much we have already booked for 2010.

FANTASTIC APARTMENT

Having spent a couple of weeks in March at this apartment, we class ourselves very lucky in booking it. The weather was superb and the view you couldnt beat. Everything said about the apartment by the owners Linda & Janet was true and also by the other holiday makers. The place was very clean and luxurious with a fab kitchen and all that you would want on holiday and more. Lots of cupboards with knik knaks to explore. Thank you very much for a lovely holiday in your apartment. Mustnt forget to mention the balcony what can i say except we would like to see it again with all the flowers out. we will be back. thanks to Sue & Richard for their help. Jenny & Dave

Lovely Stay!

My fiance, mother and father visited Casa Don Quixote from 13th January until the 20th January. We all had a wonderful stay. The weather I was informed was colder than in previous years however it was comfortable in 3/4 jeans and t-shirt during the day. The night was a little nippier so if visiting it is advisable to pack something a little heavier. The villa is beautiful and decorated to the highest standard, the newly fitted kitchen is gorgeous. We visited Nerja, the centre of Torrox and also Gibralter. Sadly it was too cold to make use of the private pool - however it was immaculately maintained and makes a good excuse for us to go back and visit nearer summer! Thanks Linda and Janet! Owners Response: T-shirt & jeans in January is fantastic along this tropical coastline during winter ! You certainly made good use of your visit to see the sights. If travelling in-land do take a wrap for evenings in the mountains. The crystal clear pool is maintained all year round for those who like a refreshing cool dip. We look forward to your return.

Nice appartment, not so nice area

The appartment is lovely, very well thought out, clean, safe and very comfortable. The finishing touches are very great and you really feel like you are borrowing someones home for a week! Terrace is very big with lovely views over the sea, perfect for sunbathing and eating lunch al fresco. <br/> <br/>However, the area is not so nice. There is a beach bar just below the appartments which is ok for a drink by the sea but not great and Torrox itself was a mass of appartments and building work on the road into it. There were no decent restaurants in walking distance and the main road to Nerja was a good 10 minute drive and definitely not walkable. <br/> <br/>The owners gave us great customer service and definitely have a lovely appartment so the reviews are very accurate. It was just a pity that is area is being so heavily built up and in my opinion, had therefore lost some of the character we maybe expected.

A stunning comfortable home in the sun

Stunning comfort and home from home luxury from bedrooms and bathrooms to kitchen lounge and patio with wonderful sea views. The pool was very clean, private and perfect for a swim or relaxing in peace on the sun beds. Whatever you wanted to cook the equipment, spices, pasta, jams etc all there with quality glasses and china. My wife was pleased to use the washing machine and as a result came back with clean clothes. Linda contacted us before, during and after our visit to check all was well and we were met by the management team who live nearby. Other than improving the quality of the sand on the beach you could not ask for a nicer place to stay. Local restaurants and supermarkets excellent and journeys to Malaga (airport), Granada and Nerja easy on the new motorways. If you want a rest, sun and nothing to worry about this villa is hard to beat. Car parking is easy as was finding the villa. The Uk Sky TV channel was a plus for lazy evenings. Many thanks to Linda and Janet for sharing your home with us. NB the supply of Beach Towels made our cases so much lighter and the room towels and robes were a delight to use. We have now contacted your suppliers and ordered some for ourselves.

Fantastic apprtment and location

Very much a 'home from home' and professional friendly service, both by Linda and Janet, and the agents in Spain. The apprtment was very high quality (we have done many appartments so are a good judge!) and the views from the very large balcony were the best we have ever had! We were blessed with excellent weather, although our young daughter (4 1/2) appreciated the english sky TV, as did we in the evenings when the temperature got cooler. Local supermarkets were well stocked including a british food shop. The other occupants were extremely friendly, and the resort was quiet which was what we wanted. The only small dissapointment was a very shingly beach, although there was enough sand for making sand castles! Thanks Linda and Janet for a great holiday - you will be hearing from us and other members of our family in the near future to book again!

Holiday Bliss.

We have failed to find anywhere as nice for a get away from it all holiday. The accomodation is stunning, a big thank you to Linda and Janet who have thought of everything! Plus with uninterrupted views of the sea what more could anyone ask for. Can't wait to return again this year!

Fantastic Villa can't wait to return

What a wonderful relaxing week we had at Casa Don Quixote. The apartment had all mod-cons and special homily touches......loved the Don Quixote robes for lounging around the apartment and the beds were especially comfortable with their tempura matresses and pillows. Everything was beautifully clean and appeared to be newly refurbished. Janet and Linda have thought of everything.....a home from home .....with added sun. The agents in spain were welcoming and helpful and quickly sorted the small problem with lighting that we experienced during our visit. The balcony with its breathtaking views over the sea was a real sun trap and we enjoyed relaxing in the sun during the day and watching the sunset from the comfort of the balcony in the evenings. The pool with private access was a peaceful haven and a great opportunity to cool off in the sun. The beach close to the apartment is easily accessible and clean with several places to eat and drink. Nerja with it's beautiful beaches and wealth of restaurants preparing varied and different dishes is a short drive away. The caves and mountain villages are also worth a visit and are within easy driving distance of the apartment. We can't wait to return and have already booked to go twice this year!!

Love at first sight!

Being back in rainy Sweden we want to thank you again for letting us visit your lovely Casa Don Quixote! We have enjoyed every minute of our three weeks there, much because of the nice apartment and the magnificent terrace with it's beautiful sight and surroundings. A lovely place to wake up and face the sunrise over the sea, the large, well-managed garden and the pool... We also appreciated the splendid and considerate equipment: comfortable furniture, big white towels, hairdryers, even bathgowns, iron, clothes-line, CDs/DVDs, etc etc... <br/>Two minutes away by car to the village of Torrox Costa we easily found nice supermercados etc and five min to Nerja, the white, clean and very romantic small town where we just walked around (and where you of course can buy everything you might need...) <br/>We also want to thank Sue and Richard (management agents) who gave us kind and perfect service! <br/>Our warmest thanks and recommendations!
