Paphos for a holiday...where else would you go?!

As we were going to spend 3mths of the winter in paphos we were looking for a 'home from home' and that's exactly what we got. The apartment and complex was everything the advert stated.

The apartment had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The balcony gets the sun during the day which was an added bonus.

The complex is extremely well situated, there is a bus
stop right outside that will take you to various places ie the old town, Coral Bay etc,. There are shops, suoermarkets, restuarants, internet cafe's etc, all on your doorstep. The beach is a few mins walk away and leads to some fantastic coastal walks, if your a walker you will really enjoy them. The harbour is about 15 - 20 mins away.

The complex itself has stunning gardens and a pool that are well maintained and a great place to relax and watch the world go by.

There are loads of places to eat, there were some we really enjoyed, one is a traditional kebab house at the back of the complex where we often got a takeaway, the kebabs were great! The others are Pukkets (which is on Tombs of the Kings road) and the Raj which is about 15 mins walk away.

Overall we had a fantastic time and will be going back.

If your thinking of going to this apt, go for it you'll have a great time!!

Having been to cyprus many times we knew the location well. The propery is in a good central location with plenty of restaurants and activities close by. The appartment was clean and well maintained and to a good standard. The pool is nice but all the other onsite facilities had closed down.

With it central location this apartment allows you to wonder the local shops or take a nice leisurely stroll down to the harbour with it numerous restaurant and shops, without having to worry about transport. You can explore further a field by catching a bus at the front of the complex to the town or Coral Bay.

Both the apartment and complex are lovely and beautifully maintained, we cannot tell you how much we enjoyed our stay.

Many thanks for allowing us to stay in your apartment.

Owners Response: Thank you "Tegan" for another great review. I do try to keep the apartment to the highest standards. Buses are air-conditioned and cheap I understand.

Easy access to all areas of the town

We enjoyed Paphos and we found your apartment, as well as being very stylish, comfortable and well presented, was well placed for easy access to all areas of the town both on foot and by car. So we could leave the car when we wanted to sample the Ouzo. It would be a good base for anyone who might not want to drive. When we return to Paphos we'll definitely rent your apartment again and in the meantime we'd recommend you to our friends and anyone who might be reading this. Thanks for all your help and a full and well informed guest book..... You've got a lovely apartment and I'm sure like us people appreciate your efforts to offer an up market place.

Your apartment is fabulous!

Your apartment is fabulous! It has everything anyone could need, and we noted down the TV stations which are additional to those in your handbook: BBC 1, BBC 2, ITV.
I tried to contact Michelle before we left for Paphos to book a taxi, but both the numbers were switched off. I did manage to contact her by email though and the taxi was waiting for us. I would certainly recommend them and I'd put the number in your guest book so that guests can contact them directly.
On a more positive note, we went to some lovely restaurants and some excellent value for money boat trips.

Perfect location; we will recommend your apartment

The location was perfect for us as it was approx. 20 minutes walk to the harbour, restaurants and mosaics, 20 mins to the Tomb of the Kings, and 20 mins to the old town, so we could walk to everywhere we wanted to go in a short time. And as the roads were lit at night we could walk into town and back at night safely.
The selection of restaurants and bars nearby was excellent, and quite a few had a 3 course meal for £8 or £9 each. A lot of the bars had offers on as well. We tried Sisyfos for the 3 course meal which was good and most restaurants now cater well for vegetarians (Kevin is one but not me!). We also went to Phuket, very nice meal, good service and not that expensive (although it looks as though it may be!). We booked a table as it was always busy when we went past. The wine started at £9 each which was more than other places but the food was not expensive.
We also went to Don Pesos for a change and both agreed that the chilli (veggie and non!) was excellent, the staff were friendly and let us wear their sombreros and we had a free tequila slammer! The table next to us also agreed that it was the best mexican they had had in a long time, so it is recommended.
We didn't bother hiring a car but decided to book a few trips. We had heard about the jeep trips into the Troodos mountains so decided to go by coach as I don't particularly like heights and have a bad back!! It was a good choice as our guide was very funny and the driver was not a usual loony who drives at break neck speed! We stopped off at Platres and then up to Kykkos monastery for lunch and then another monastery on the way back. The mountains were very peaceful and cooler than the resorts. We used Socrates Travel and would recommend them to anyone.
We also decided to try a jeep safari up to the Akamas (not too many heights and just a bit bumpy but if you sit in the front of the jeep or the back facing forward then it is not too bad, if you sit in the back then it is bad!). We had an excellent driver called Paul (Georges jeeps) who had lived on the island for 15 years and knew everything about everything. He told us about all the plants and stopped to get us samples of pecans, pomegranets, carobs, walnuts etc etc. We went to Lara Bay (where the turtles are, or were as they had all gone off by then!), a canyon (can't remember name) then to Lattchi for lunch. Afterwards to Aphrodites baths and then back via a few villages on the way back. He knew all the back roads where there was nobody else and we met hardly any other jeeps.
Both trips were booked by an agent near Fat Mammas.
All in all a very enjoyable holiday, lots to see and do. We don't really sunbathe but like to walk round and see things so Paphos was a good place for us and lots of history etc.
Many thanks and best wishes. Will recommend your apartment to anyone we know who wants to go to Paphos.

Best Position in the centrally placed complex

We're back after having a great holiday in Paphos. The apartment was lovely and had everything we could have needed. It is definitely in the best position in the complex and the complex itself is central to everything yet very quiet and relaxing.

Just a note to say that we're back safe and sound

Just a short note to say that we're back safe and sound (and very relaxed!) after a week in Cyprus. The apartment was, as expected, absolutely perfect for us and we did nothing for the whole week but relax!
On arrival the weather seemed not too bad ... and we used this cloudy time to lunch out and wander around. By Thurs the sun was out and we were able to enjoy the peace and quiet around the pool.
So, a fantastic week with superb facilities - thank you - we'll most certainly return if we can persuade my mum to have the kids for a week next year!

Owners Response: Thanks Vanessa for the kind words. The clouds are rare. Cyprus boasts 300 days of sunshine.
