Staying in the apartment gives you a true sense of France. It was centrally located and equiped with everything you could ask for. Antibes itself is stunning as are the surrounding areas. It could be a little noisy at night though. We had an excellent stay and would recommend it to others. Thank you.

We spent 5 days in Antibes in this lovely apartment. It was very well presented. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed. The location was very central to everything. It was our resting place after touring Italy and before going onto Paris and the UK. Mark was prompt in replying to my emails. I highly recommend the apartment.

This apartment is in an excellent location - very central while remaining quiet and peaceful. While it is a traditional building the apartment is very well equiped for modern living. In short we had everything we could possibly have wanted or could have expected.
The streets in this area are so inviting that you find yourself just wandering from one to the next to see what delights are in store. We spent quite an amount of time at the beach at Bouee but also visted the various beaches in Antibes itself and Juan Les Pins. Bus and Train travel are to be recommended, especially the €5 family bus ticket. We took the train to Ventimiglia and took in Monte Carlo on the return journey which was an excellent trip and highly recommended. Another must is Biot village where I would have happily stayed forever. Would I recommend it to friends? - absolutely. Would I go back? - in a heart beat,

Absolutely perfect place to stay in Antibes. Centrally placed in the old town so it's possible to walk everywhere. The apartment is furnished to an extremely high standard and is spotless. Could not have chosen anywhere better. The manageress is extremely helpful and we would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to anyone.

Old Town Antibes - across the bay from Nice

Everything about our ten day stay in Antibes was superb!

We adored Antibes and this beautiful, well set out, light and airy apartment, which was well furnished and contained all the requirements that one could possibly need, was perfect for two couples.

I, and I think I speak for all of us, loved waking up in the morning, opening the shutters on to the street scene below and looking along to the church and the archway through to Rue de la Republique which runs through the heart of the 'old town' - almost from the fountains in Place de Gaulle, past the carousel and childrens play park, to Place Nationale with its restuarants, shops etc.

It was a two minute walk for our baguettes etc., from the boulangerie around the corner and then breakfast in the dining area with the bay windows open - bliss!!

Beyond Place Nationale is the covered Marche Provencal market which is open in the morning for all your fresh food and more: in the evening the market becomes the home of the the restuarants who lay out their tables for diners.

All of the above is within the ramparts of the old town through which is situated the port and the town beach with its safe, sheltered bathing.

We loved the little local buses which took us to Eden Roc, near the base of the Cap, where we walked and sat for a while overlooking Juan-les-Pins; we then caught the next bus to Plage de la Garoupe (all for one euro each). After lunch under parosols at the beach side snack bar (much, much more than just a snack bar), we walked around the Cap a little more and finally returned home on the bus for a further one euro!!

Worth a visit is St Paul de Vence, with its stunning views towards the Med. It is a hill top, walled village which is situated high in the hills above Nice: we travelled by bus and St Paul could be seen for miles before we arrived and again cost us one euro each way! The tourist information office by the fountains were very helpful re the bus times etc., (200 to Nice but change at Cagnes sur mur - cross the road and take the 400 towards Vence)

We also caught the double decker train from Antibes which runs along the coast to Nice and to Monacco beyond (a beautiful 40 min trip). A wonderful day was had by all.

Do you need a car: no!

Will we be back: We certainly hope so! In the words of our friend Bill, "How did it take us so long to find this place?"

We were met at the apartment by the owners representative who was very help and pleasant.

Myself and two colleagues stayed in the apartment to attend a conference in Cannes as this was the closest accomodation we could get to Cannes by the time we booked the conference. We found the apartment to be clean, comfortable and the high ceilings made for a light, cool and airy environment. The apartment was ideally located for the train station (5 min walk) the port (2 min walk) and is right in the middle of the old town which made it very convenient for eating out with a whole raft of restaurants to choose from. Whilst we did not have the opportunity to enjoy the beach, the public beach in Antibes looks a beautiful spot and would be easy to reach on foot (10 - 15 min walk) or by car. Both myself and my colleagues would seriously consider renting the apartment again if in Antibes for a holiday.

Mramily rented this apartment for the last 2 weeks of August in 2007. The unit was perfect for us. We travelled in a group of 5 people 4 adults and older child. The apartment was fairly large, clean and had all the requirements we needed. Fridge, stove, washer ,dryer, etc. It had two bedrooms and a large siting area and eating area. After all day of site seeing we were able to come back and relax. The location was very good right in the heart of old town. Close to many many restaurants, the harbour where there were very many beautiful yatchs. It is amount a 10-15 min walk to the train station that will takeyou anywhere from Paris to all the French Riveria. There were car rentals location spots very close, one only a block away. The apartmnet is also about five minute walk to the local bus station that will take you around. During the time frame we were there they had large flea markets several times a week and a nightly market everynight. There are also a few very small grocery stores handy but the large grocery store was long ways away. When rented cars several times and did plenty of travel from Antibes and that is also when we stocked up on groceries. The nice sandy beaches start in the Antibe area as you go east they turn to rock beaches, went spent a lot of time in Juan les Pins which was a very short bus ride to some great beaches. Juan les Pins is connected to Antibes. The apartment did not have air conditioning but had many ceiling fans to help cool down the place. The aparment also has a tv with satelite sevice. We had a great stay and enjoyed the location we were in. We are from Alberta Canada.

Ideal place to stay

We stayed in this apartment for two weeks and found it fantastic. It is really well situated in the Old Town close to everything with train, bars, restaurants, port and beaches all within a short stroll.
Apartment is airy and the high ceiling gives a great sense of space so that for the one rainy day we had last year we didn't go mad having to stay inside for a few hours.
We would highly recommend.
