Great apartment in wonderful area - for self-catering, restaurants, walking to tourist sites, taking the metro. <br/>Owner met us at 10pm with key - very flexible. Easy payment using paypal. Apartment more suitable for families, or VERY good friends, as bathroom is accessed through double bedroom. <br/>Would love to stay again. Thank you.

Fabulous Stay in central Paris

We had a great time at this apartment, it was the first time we've stayed in one in Paris and was far better than a hotel room. Located in a very central location and close proximity for walking to many of the sites Paris has to offer. We would recomend it and would stay there again. If you do need to use the sofa bed in the lounge room, it can be a mission to open and fold away.

Was everything that was said to have in advertisement. Very comfortable for a family of four. Best sofa lounge to sleep 2 very easily. <br/>Great location and easy to get anywhere in Paris for first time visitors. Very helpful owners in all ways and and easily contactable if needed. <br/>A wonderful experience and would definitely recommend to family and friends. Hope to return one day soon. Thanks fred and friends.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment. The apartment is very well located, and accomodated the 4 of us. It was handy to have the kitchen, washing machine, hair dryer, etc provided. It was great to have wonderful bakeries and grocers, open air markets, nightlife and the like so close by. The negative with that however, was that the apartment was noisier than we had hoped. The lively bars on the street made for loud nights- which is really the only negative I can say regarding our experience. Do also be prepared for a lot of steps with your luggage! But then the view of the street makes that worth it. <br/>The apartment was clean and organized. The assistants who greeted us were extremely pleasant and helpful. The owner was gracious in dealing with us in obtaining the apartment. It was really a very easy way to go. <br/> It was incredible to walk to the Louvre, the Seine, etc. Although the metro was easy to use, you can pretty much walk to everywhere from this apartment. We used the metro for Montemarte (well worth it) and the train to Versailles, but otherwise walked everywhere including the Garnier Opera House for the ballet. Absolutely wonderful. <br/>Thanks so much Fred! <br/>.

Great place with a great location

Great apartament to be in. Very well decorated and the right space for a couple or a family of four. The Louvre, Ponpidou, Notre Dame, Gallerie Lafayette and many other places are within a walking distance. The Metro is around the corner. Great places to eat down the street with a bakery, fruit stand and groceries less than 100 yards away. Highly recommend to anybody that wants to visit Paris and avoid some of the touristy hotels.

L'appartement correspondait tout à fait à la description et aux photos que nous avions vues sur le site internet. Il était propre et très bien équipé. Très bien situé, nous avions accès à distance de marche à la majorité des sites touristiques de Paris. Nous avons trouvé dans les rues avoisinantes des boutiques, bistrots, épiceries, etc.. Nous n'hésiterions pas à recommander cet appartement à des parents et des amis. Nous avons eu un séjour magnifique. <br/> <br/>Carole et Sylvain

We very much enjoyed our stay in your apartment in Paris. Apart from the comfort of the apartment mentioned by so many others we were delighted with the immediate neighbourhood which offered a range of good bars and cafes for evening entertainment. The atmosphere in Rue Monmartre is delightful: it felt safe, relaxed and welcoming.This is an ideal apartment in terms of facilities and location for enjoying a short stay in Paris.

Paris Easter 2009

Just a quick note to say how much we enjoed our recent week long stay in your Paris apartment during the Easter holidays. <br/> <br/>The apartment was compact and beautifully designed, furnished and perfectly equiped for a family of four (children aged 11 and 9). The free wireless <br/>Internet was also very useful. <br/> <br/>The superb location made it very easy to walk to <br/>the main attractions such as Louvre Museum, Notre Dames, the Pompidou Centre and Monmartre - all of which were only 10-20 minutes walk away. If that sounds like too much walking - the Sentier Metro station is (less than) five minutes walk (left out of the apptmnt, then next left along Rue de Clery then just as you get to Rue Reaumur - the Metro entrance is on your right.) <br/> <br/>We also did a day-trip to Disneyland Paris. We took the Metro to Gare de Lyon RER station - and were able to purchase return train tickets and 1 day (single park) entrance tickets for 228 Euro. The train journey takes approx 45 min from Gare de Lyon. Not to everyone's taste I know - but my children loved it. <br/> <br/>We found plenty of shops and small cafes and restaurants in the area - I particularly enjoyed shopping and eating in Rue Montorgueil. My wife prefered the "Mr Ed" supermarket on Rue de Monmartre - as the prices in there made the Sterling - Euro exchange rate less painful! (Turn right out of the appartment and keep going - it's on the same side of the street as the apartment) <br/> <br/>We drove from England, journey time from Calais to central Paris was (approx) 3.5 hours. We parked in the underground Car Park at Les Forum des Halles - which is located at the southern end of Rue de Monmartre (10 minute walk from the apartment). Take a ticket on the way in - but then go to the payment booth and ask for it to be converted to a weekly pass. This cost us 67 Euro for a seven day pass - you can exit and enter at will with the pass. <br/> <br/>In summary, the apartment is just as described, well maintained and equiped in a superb location. All amenities are on your doorstep or easy to walk to and Paris in springtime is just fantastic! <br/> <br/>What are you waiting for? - Book now - Fred is ready and willing to help you with all your enquiries - Go on - you will not regret it.

Excellent Paris Apartment

We were very pleased to have chosen this apartment to rent. The location was quite good, near to the Metro, shops, etc., especially the cool Montorgueil pedestrian area and several charming "passages". Working out the details with Fred was very easy and Anna waited to greet us when we arrived. The apartment itself is fitted out very nicely, with everything we needed. The bathroom is very nice, with a wonderful shower. <br/> <br/>We were two adults and our 12-year-old daughter, and we had more than enough room. We stayed for one week and were very comfortable the entire time. It might have been a little tight for 4 adults, mainly because there is only one bathroom. We very much liked the old world character of the building, but with all the modern amenities. I would definitely recommend this apartment to others.

Great location, absolutely excellent apartment. The photos on the site really don't do it justice. Very tastefully decorated with everything that you need. We were a family of 4 (children 11 & 13) and had ample space. Also very convenient for the train from CDG and only a few minutes walk from the Louvre and we were able to walk to all of the major sights. <br/>We'd definitely use it again when we return to Paris.

We had a wonderful stay in Paris. This apartment was tastefully decorated and comfortable. Frederic was very helpful. The neighborhoodd was full of great places to eat and shop. Everyone in the building and neighborhood were welcoming and friendly. Paris is awesome! Thank you!

I just wanted to thank you for a wonderful stay in your apartment in Paris. All four of us had such a lovely stay. The apartment is so well stocked and had everything we could possibly want for our stay. It was an added bonus to have all the toiletries provided and all the kitchen equipment we could possibly require. The apartment is so well located for everything we wanted, convenient for walking to the main areas and for the bus routes and metro. We found it to be a fabulous home from home. It was the best holiday we have had and Paris remains a beautiful welcoming city for visitors with so much to see and do. <br/> <br/>Thank you once again for allowing us to use your lovely apartment.

Quel bonheur,quel plaisir. <br/>Le propriétaire Frederic nous accueille comme des rois. <br/>Son appartement, tres bien situé,est aussi bien et propre que les photos nous le montre. What a great opportunity of renting this fantastic apartment in Paris. Everything was perfect. <br/>Our family of three (2 adults, 1 kid) fit very confortably in the flat which has all the accomodations and has a great design. It was nice to cook in a fantastic kitchen, and to shower in a cosy bathroom. The sleeping-room's courtyard exposure is perfectly quiet and furnished. <br/> <br/>Location is close to all the major sites of center Paris, 5 minutes walk to the Louvres and near the trendy Grands Boulevards and streets where one can find delicious restaurants and boutiques. We particularly enjoyed to visit the Montorgueil market just a few streets away. <br/> <br/>The adorable owners were very prompt and responsive to our inquiries. <br/> <br/>We highly recommend the stay in this apartment and we hope to returning in a couple of years if it is still available.
