We stayed at this property over the Easter holidays and would recommend it to anyone.
we were greeted with homemade bread, fresh eggs from (Paul and LLiwen's own hens) and a bottle of wine - a good start that got better!
The property appears compact, but we were here with our two children (a bouncy 7 year old girl and a beefy 13 year old boy) and had ample space (helped by the open mezzanine, which the kids loved). The cottage had everything we needed, was beautifully maintained and in a wonderful location with very nice owners on site.
The hot tub was fabulous, as was the sauna - the only problem was it was so good that some of my more ambitious excursions had to be curtailed as I couldn't get the wife and kids out of the darned thing!
We visited South Stacks (near Holyhead) to see the puffins- well worth doing if you are willing to face the 400+ steps, Bodnant Gardens (which were stunning) and Penrhyn Castle (the victorian kitchens were well worth the visit). Beaumaris was surprisingly upmarket, with some lovely shops (particularly liked 'Sarah's' deli) and we had a go at crab fishing off the pier.
The highlight for me was going up into the mountains - the drive over to Capel Curig then down the Llanberris Pass and back up to Bedgellert before ending up in Caernarfon was truly stunning.
All in all, a fabulous break at a lovely cottage and definitely to be repeated in the near future.

Myself, my partner and our 3 children (ages 10 to 15) went to this cottage in early April 2009. The location was fantastic - on a welsh mountain hillside with views of the mountains in one direction and the Menai Strait in the other. The directions given by the owner on how to get to the property was spot on. The property was really well laid out and had everything we needed. It was clean and well maintained. The owner was on hand when we arrived and she made us feel very welcome. There was fresh homemade bread and free range eggs witing for us and there was also tea, coffee and sugar already in the cupboards. We made use of the spa facilities on 2 of our nights there. The hot tub was amazing. The sauna was good to go in after the hot tub to dry off. The property is very well located for either travelling into Snowdonia and the mountains, or going East to Conwy or west to Anglesey. We had a fantastic time and would recommend this beautiful cottage to all.

From the 14th of June till the 21st of June 2008, we stayed in the "Beudy Bach" studio in Bangor. It was really centrally located and therefore just a short drive away from all the major touristic attractions in the neighbourhood. The studio has all the comfort you need. Our hosts, Lliwen and Paul and their dog Snoopy, were very nice and gave us a very warm welcome. As a welcome gift, we received a bottle of wine, some home-made bread and eggs from the chickens in their garden. The place was really tidy and was cleaned every day. There was a hot tub at your disposal. However, we didn't use it because for us it was too cold outside. There's an infrared sauna as well and a small fitness area. There's a shared BBQ-area and garden at your disposal as well. If we had a problem or a question, we could always rely on Lliwen and Paul for help. They always made time for a chat and gave us very useful information about which places to visit in the area. For dinner, we mainly cooked ourselves, but we went out twice for dinner in the Bistro Conwy in Chapel Street, Conwy. They serve modern and traditional Welsh dishes(fresh and local produce). This place is really great if you want to have a good meal. The prices are not too expensive.Conwy in general is a nice town to spend some time. We really enjoyed our stay in Beudy Bach.

We had a four night break in this lovely cottage. The cottage location is excellent only a couple of miles of the A55 but very quiet and peaceful with great views over the surrounding hills. The location is also very good for covering this area of North Wales with easy access to Snowdonia, Anglesey and the Llywn pennisula. Cottage was has a compact kitchen area but has everything you need with plenty of crockery and cooking utensil which are always so useful. It was very clean and well maintained absolutely first class. It was well furnished with homely touches which made it feel like a home from home. Although we were there in summer we did put the heating on one night and it worked very well with under the floor heating particularly useful in the bathroom. We did make use of the hot tub which is very large and in a great location to catch all the evening sun. We also used the infra-red sauna which was lovely to dry off after the hot tub - definitely something different and a real treat for the kids as they loved it. There is a garden patio at the back of the cottages which was bigger than I had imagined, so don't be put off by the phrase patio and this also got the evening and morning sun with a great view to the hills. We sat out and had our evening meal there on our arrival. It had a gas BBQ which we would have used if the weather had permitted. The owners were very friendly and helpful without been intrusive although the cottages are attached they reassured us they did not hear our kids in the mornings! We also had beds made etc while we stayed what a bonus. I would also like to add that the bed we used was very comfortable which we have found has varied from place to place.
On arrival there was fresh bread which was lovely, eggs and a bottle of red wine, which all added to our break.
In all I can recommend this cottage and this area to friends.
The Anglesey Sea Life centre is worth a visit with children 3-12 on a wet day. Caenarfon Castle worth visiting with family as well as lots of towers, nooks and crankies for the kids to explore. Plus lots of walks, hills to climb we went up one behind ?cottage Youth Hostel car parking plus toilet and kiosk just outside Bethseda? which was a good walk for the kids. L, D, E, A, C

We stayed in this cottage for a week. The cottage is very cozy and just as shown in the photographs. The owners of the cottage who live next door were extremely gracious and helpful to us. I would certainly recommend this cottage to other holiday makers, specially the location is very central for visiting many of the attractions in North Wales such as Conwy, Llandudno, Portmeirion, Llanberis etc.
