There was 4 adults and 2 children in our party and we all had a fantastic time! The weather was incredibly hot (and for the time of year unseasonal I understand) but the apt was exactly as described, well maintained, clean and well thought out.
The local shops are within walking distance and are well stocked with all that you would need, though I would recommend a car if you want to get out and about. The agents for the property were extremely helpful especially as we got a bit lost on the way to the property and they kindly talked us in. The all you can eat chinese is well worth a visit, and all main dishes are freshly cooked in front of you. If you go a bit further afield the Argentinian Steak House is worth a visit, we went on Wednesday and was lucky enough to get to see an Argentinian Tango demonstration which the girls both found fascinating and the food was to die for!
I would definately recommend it for a holiday, and we are already thinking about when we can make a return visit.

Cycling Holiday |

My family of 5 adults (2 grandparents, 2 parents and 1 uncle) and 2 children (aged 3 and 1) rented this villa in May 2009. We found the description on the web was accurate. The villa was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The management company proved to be extremely friendly and helpful. We didnt want to hire a car so we hired 5 bicycles (2 with child seats) and this proved to be an excellent idea. We cycled out every day to a different location including 3 different beaches and a nature reserve. There was plenty of dedicated cycle paths, and when we had to go on roads we invaribly found the drivers to be courteous and considerate. Around the villa there was plenty of supermarkets and other shops within walking distance. The swimming pool was very clean, and we were the only ones who used it during the week we were there.
The weather (in the first week of May) was sunny and warm (24C) all day every day.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this villa to anyone.

We stayed at La Perla for just over six weeks during Feb and Mar 09 while completing on our house. Maggie the owner was very helpful and provided all info we asked for in advance and when we arrived found everything exactly as expected. The villa is very spacious, with all you need for a holiday provided and very well maintained, furnishings are comfy and very glad of the aircon heating, it does get cold in the winter! Swimming pool just a stone's throw from villa and welcomed in the summer! Would certainly recommend to friends and family. A great base to explore Costa Blanca and a car would make the most of your holiday. Great beaches at La Marina and Guadamar, only 10 mins drive away. There's a good variety of restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance and we'd really recommend the Asian Wok by Consum, help yourself buffet with great starters - we didn't bother having any main and very reasonably priced! Try the Banana Tree in Quesada town if you like Thai, brilliant. There's a great Sunday morning market on the Lemon Tree Road from Guadamar to Quesada and Zoco market in Quesada, also on a Sunday morning (follow the cars!) but Torrevieja has a huge market in the town centre on a Friday. Good fun!! Hope you have a great holiday!

Lovely villa. Everything was how the owner discribed it. We came in July and October and the weather in July was very hot but the air con in every room made the difference. There is also a communal pool which is only 10 mtrs away so you could have a dip at anytime you wanted.
The owner gave us lots of information about the activities nearby and places to visit. She also organised car seat and cot for my little one. There are lots of bars and Restaurants nearby in Ciudad Quesada and the best one is The Banana Tree - Thai Restaurant.
The Guadamar Beach was beatiful and only 10 minutes away from the house. It wasn't crowded either.
I will be coming back and I will recommend the house to my friends and family again

I have spent 2 weeks in this villa and we enjoyed our holiday tremendously. It was our first time in Spain and we definately will be coming back.
The villa is very well maintained adn only recently built. All the furnishings are very high standard. The area around the house is well established so no building work taking place. It is a residential area and the neighbours are very helpfull and friendly.
Air-con is in all rooms which was great. The beds are very comfortable and all bedrooms and living area is very spacious, especially the terraces - there are 3!!!!
There is a bedroom on the ground floor which is great because my Dad is not very good on his feet and has difficulty getting upstairs. There is also a shower room downstairs.
The house has got everything you need even a barbacue.
The beaches of Guadamar and La Mata are only 5 minutes away in the car and there is a restaurant next to a restaurant so plenty to choose from.
The owner Maggie was fantastic. She could not be more helpful and accomodating. She also speaks Polish which made a difference. She has given us plenty of information on places to visit and recommended few restaurants and bars. There are couple of bars and restaurants within walking distance which is great if you want to have a drink and not drive.
Quesada is only 2 minutes away in the car or 15-20min walking distance.
The Management company came to meet us at the airport which was great as we have never driven in Spain. We then picked up a rental car once we have arrived in Quesada.
We had a great holiday and we did not have to worry about all the arrangements. Maggie even recommended cheapest flights and car rental companies.

The house was excellent, very spacious, clean and furnished to a high standard.
The beach and golf facilities are nearby.
In Ciudad Quesada there are lovely restaurants and bars - The Thai Restaurant and Don Carlos and Amstalameria barsThere are also plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from.
The owner was very helpfull and provided us with lots in internet links as we have not been to this area before. There were plenty places to visit: Alicante, Murcia and Torrevieja.

The house is situated in suberb urban area, which allows you to get a real feel for Spain.
The house is very generous in size, clean and well maintained. The sun terraces are excellent with sun all day around.
the communal pool is large enough to accomodate the whole urbanization.
The beach at Guadamar is fantastic, not too crowded and plenty of bars and restaurants. Water sports are plentiful.
I would recommend this property my friends and family.

We suggest you draw a basic map from the arches in the high street to the villa as we did struggle to find the road.
Villa was clean 5 out of 5
Information provided by the owner 4 out 5
There were only 4 deep cereal/breakfast bowls, and there was 5 of us
Eating out = Laurel and Hardy pub and food for cheap eating out. The B2B restaurant.
Family activities = Water Park for the young ones, under 13yrs
We found the Villa to be very clean and homely, with plenty of space for all the family. With the terrace in the shade we were able to sit out side in the heat of the day. The Air con was a welcome relief for the hot midday sun. The pool was a good size, but could do with some shade and seating. Our contact “Dave” was very good, with good advice and a happy and relaxed approachable person. This was a very nice Villa that I would have no hesitation recommending to a friend.
