A very well rested holiday -had by all!

We had a fantastic 10 day break. The apartment was lovely. It was a fab size, being easily big enough for the six (inc 4 big teenagers) of us. It was so well equipped with everything you could think of and more! Good selection of games, books, videos etc.

The bedroom sizes were brilliant.Everything was so clean and tidy. Great sea views from the terrace. I would say it would be great to have a car though to see all the surrounding areas but has bus routes. It is on a hill which is great views, but is not too far away from the 2 towns locally to walk to. Although the teenagers wished it was slightly closer to the sea and town but still made the effort to walk it! Great info in apartment about local areas and restaurants etc. The swimming pools were more than adequate - we often had the top pool to ourselves.

The owner has been so helpful and informative, great to deal with and is so nice to have that personal touch. I have recommended this apartment to family and now to whoever is reading this!

Fantastic Holiday Apartment

I booked the apartment for my parents, two daughters and myself. The apartment was spotless on arrival and was exactly as described on website. Thank you for all your advice prior to booking. Directions from the airport were excellent and very easy to follow. I would recommend hiring a car to see the beautiful area of Mojacar. The beach was a short walk away and very unspoilt and not crowded. The restaurants which you recommended were very good and we ate in a few of them. I would recommend Restaurant 22, food is fantastic and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartment is very good value for money and I will be recommending it to anyone who wishes to visit Mojacar, we hope to again soon.
Thank you for all you help and advice when we were booking, and your prompt replies to any queries I had by email it was very re-assuring, and also having the local agent's phone number if there were any problems. Thankfully we did not need the local agent as everything was in order in the apartment.
We had a wonderful and relaxing holiday. Many thanks

Autumn Sun & Golf - October 2008

On arrival the apartment was spotless and had everything we required for our party of 4 adults for our 5 day break. The balcony is large and is great for enjoying breakfast in the morning and a few glasses of wine in the evening taking in the fabulous views over the golf course and the sea.

The apartment is situated in a quiet spot and is a pleasant 5-10 minute walk from the main road and beach. From here it is possible to get on one of the regular buses that take you in either the direction of the old town of Garrucha (our favourite) with a great selection of tapas bars or in the other direction to Mojacar Playa with its large selection of lively bars and restaurants. The bus also goes on to the old traditional white wash hilltop town of Mojacar - well worth a visit.

During our break we managed to get in a round of golf at 3 excellent courses all within 30 mins drive of the apartment. There are many more local courses that we are looking forward to trying in future visits.

We will definitely recommend both this apartment and this part of Spain to friends and hope to visit again soon.

2008 Holiday in the Sun

A lovely apartment which was very clean and well equipped upon our arrival. Very good instructions from the airport. Lovely view over the golf course towards the Sea.
The beach is a 10 minute walk.
This is a beautiful area of Almeria, only 15 minutes walk from Garrucha a 'proper' Spanish town and fishing port. Eat just off the main seafront for great tapa's at very reasonable prices.
The hilltown of Mojacar Peublo is 10 minutes by car, very quaint and fantastic views.
Drive into the mountains and you'll find amazing little villages. A great holiday!

We love the area and especially enjoy a long weekend out of season, as you say Garrucha is still very spanish and eating quality food at a good price is possible especially the fresh fish caught daily. Ideal location for families not wanting the night life of larger resorts. The beaches are uncrowded but well serviced and clean and the restaurants to choose from are plentiful. We hope that we may see you again in the future.

Mojacar Golf

Our party of 4 golfers flew into Murcia Airport and found the apartment surprisingly easily using the provided directions. The apartment was very welcoming with all the necesary mod-cons. The view was exactly as the picture shows from a generously sized balcony. We all found our bedrooms adaquate to rest our weary bodies after our rounds of golf. We played Desert Springs and Val del Este; 2 brilliant golf courses with excellant facilities. These courses are less than 30 minutes away. Although we never played it the local Marina de la Torre, which can be seen from the balcony, also looked a surperb course. The local restaurants/bars were very relaxed and provided more than enough variety for us.
A surperb golfing break in a lovely warm location. Thankyou.

Owners Response: Thank you for taking the time to write this review. The new road from Murcia to Mojacar takes about 30 minutes off the old journey. Both the courses you played are first class and are usually very quite the area hasnt yet taken off as a golf location. Summer is a good time for golf in Spain as most courses offer discounts as it this the low season. Resturants in Mojacar offer food for all budgets and I always include a brief list of places to eat with all bookings. Very pleased you found the apartment as described and thank you for your personal email to us.

Great Break!

Just a quick note to say what a great short break we have had. The apartment was excellent value, and very well equipped - you have thought about everything, even a tea pot! On arrival everything was clean and well presented. Mojacar is a great resort with a good choice of bars and restaurants to choose from. Recommend Restaurant 22 in the Commercial Centre was a great find! Plenty of choice for golf - Desert Springs has a welcoming Club House, even if you are not playing golf! The beaches looked very inviting, but as it was March we didn't sun-bathe! The friend I went with has already booked again for this year & I hope to do so again very soon. We will certainly recommend you to our friends. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

We had a great week. Everything was as promised and your apartment was clean and tidy when we arrived. Your directions from the airport were spot on and parking was easy. Mojacar is still unspoilt and we had some wonderful meals especially the fish in Garrucha. We would love to go back and bring some friends.

We had a lovely time on holiday and found it a lovely relaxing break. The apartment was also spotless when we arrived after following your great directions. Mr & Mrs Bean – Aug 2006. We have had a wonderful holiday, we found the apartment to be well equipped and very comfortable with rooms well suited for a family of our size, and capable of coping easily with more. We loved the resort and the drive from the airport could not have been easier and the directions you gave were precise! We will fully recommend your apartment to our friends and family.
