Philipinnes holiday rental island house in Bicol, with the Mayon volcano in view. Pier and boat available also scuba diving gear. Housekeeper and caretaker living nearby. Deep well and septic tank and electricity, very new and well kept throughout. Self-catering if needed or otherwise all needs catered for by housekeeper; very large balconies and swimming and fishing and snorkelling. 3 Bedrooms all en-suite, the master bedroom very large with walk-in wardrobe. Comepletely furnished with modern kitchen and dining room. Very tranquil. 30 min boat ride from Tabaco City and Legaspi. Summer villa set in lovely bay with motor boat and outrigger. Rental £135.00 per week GBP. Waterfalls and caves and cagsawa church worth visiting. On the island of San Miguel, Rawis Albay, Bicol. Enjoy a Philippine's island holiday.

Tranquill island house with boat, nice walking and swimming on the island, on the mainland very near to the Mayon volcano, Cagsawa church, hoyop-hoyopan caves and large freshwater falls. Shopping malls in Legaspi or Tabaco city, 30 min from the island, San Miguel island. Fish sanctuary nearby and snorkelling. Plenty of beaches near and close by. Legaspi airport 30 min.

Notes: Aviary, and sheltered hammock, nipa-hut in the grounds. GENERATOR IN THE GROUNDS,IN CASE OF BROWN-OUTS, local municipality will cut off electricity when typhoons occur,(weather check can be made- generator is there in the vicinity. full running water,2 sources, deep well, and underground tank always flowing water hot and cold. All laundry and cleaning is done by our housekeeper at local costs, minimal, the boats are free for your use with the housekeepers husband Jhun, piloting. but fuel will be an extra charge, to and from the mainland is at local cost,very minimal. The Housekeeper and husband have lived in the island for 50 years and are very reliable to look after all your needs.

We arrived on a blustery, rainy day and were met at Legaspi airport and received VIP treatment all the way to St Miguel Island.
The views from all sides of the house are absolutely stunning. We spent many days waiting for the illusive Mt Mayon to appear from behind the clouds and when she finally did, the sight was out of this world.
The house is very private, spacious and well equipped. Our only request would have been beach loungers to lie out on.
As it's on an Island you do need to stock up on supplies as there is no corner shop should you run out. However, the caretakers will float you into Tabaco City on the "bangka" or bring you supplies when they go into town.
The house is exceptionally clean and well maintained and has a well manicured garden. Equipped with most mod. cons. even a little washing machine which was great!
Great for beachcombing or taking long walks around the island.
The caretakers are fabulous and will keep the place spic and span.
Very private location.
Island hopping is a must, particularly if you like snorkeling, but be sure to bring your own equipment.
Would recommend it to anyone.

Perfect place to get away from it all!

We stayed here from Jan 27 - 31, 2009. The house is beautiful and very clean - perfectly maintained by the housekeeper and her husband. They both went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable and as comfortable as can be.

It's location is perfect for a peaceful, relaxing holiday.

It's about a 30- minute boat ride from Tabaco city.

There's a beach by the dock, which is ok, but the one by the lighthouse (about 5 minute walk) is nicer.

I would definitely recomment it to anyone looking for a comfortable, peaceful place to relax in Bicol.
