We arrived on a blustery, rainy day and were met at Legaspi airport and received VIP treatment all the way to St Miguel Island.
The views from all sides of the house are absolutely stunning. We spent many days waiting for the illusive Mt Mayon to appear from behind the clouds and when she finally did, the sight was out of this world.
The house is very private, spacious and well equipped. Our only request would have been beach loungers to lie out on.
As it's on an Island you do need to stock up on supplies as there is no corner shop should you run out. However, the caretakers will float you into Tabaco City on the "bangka" or bring you supplies when they go into town.
The house is exceptionally clean and well maintained and has a well manicured garden. Equipped with most mod. cons. even a little washing machine which was great!
Great for beachcombing or taking long walks around the island.
The caretakers are fabulous and will keep the place spic and span.
Very private location.
Island hopping is a must, particularly if you like snorkeling, but be sure to bring your own equipment.
Would recommend it to anyone.
