Ibiza Town is split into three distinct regions. The old walled town, D’Alta Vila is a UNESCO world heritage site, and is filled with medieval buildings, the most impressive being the tower of the Cathedral de Santa Maria. The clubbing season lasts from May until October, and there are two super clubs in Ibiza Town itself. Pacha and El Divino, and the infamous Space is a very popular post-Pacha venue. The other famous clubs towards San Antonio are all within easy reach of an Ibiza villa too.
The other main activity in Ibiza Town is sunbathing. The beaches of Playa d’en Bossa and Fugueretas are busy with families and bronzed bodies throughout the summer. The party beaches accessible from an Ibiza apartment or villa rental are the beaches Playa Bassa, or the nudist beach at Playa Cavallet.
Just a 30 minute boat trip from Ibiza port is Fortentera, where fishermen are far more common than DJ’s! It is a haven of well being, with natural mud baths and endless stretches of white sand.
