From the UK there are regular weekly flights from Manchester, Birmingham and London Gatwick. Excel Airways flies regularly from Manchester and Gatwick on Tuesdays and Fridays. British Airways fly from London on Thursdays and more flights are becoming available throughout the week from many UK airports. For the best deals, a search on the Internet is recommended (eg. cheapflights.co.uk or airflights.co.uk). An alternative is to fly via Cairo on a scheduled flight and then take a local flight or bus down to Hurghada. Or its possible to fly to Sharm el Sheikh on the Sinai peninsular and arrive in Hurghada by ferry. However, the most cost effective way to travel is to fly directly to Hurghada. Taxis to and from the airport are very inexpensive and can be arranged in advance.
