Welcoming, attractive, city centre apt with fantastic views
This is a much-loved, very attractive city centre flat which we ourselves lived in for ten years. At the top of a typical Edinburgh tenement, it is four flights up, but its tremendous views of Arthur’s Seat, and the Pentland Hills, which are snow-capped in winter, make it well worth the climb. The flat, which is light and airy, is striking for its welcoming feel, and many of our guests return year after year. Ideally situated for the Royal Mile, Princes Street, shops, cafes and restaurants, it is a stone’s throw from the university in George Square. We have been letting this property since 1998 and take great pride in making it a warm home from home for our guests. It is, therefore, very well equipped, and although it is supremely good value, we have not comprised on the things that matter, like high quality linen and towels, and a comfortable bed. The apartment is on the south side of the city, approximately 10 minutes walk from the Royal Mile and Princes Street. The Festival Theatre, Royal Museum of Scotland and a wide selection of bars and restaurants are all on the doorstep, and the university around the corner. The flat overlooks the Meadows, an attractive public park with tennis courts, and our guests have always found it an ideal base for exploring the city.

Rates are for up to 4 people in all cases and the price includes electricity, gas, towels and linen and a mid -stay clean for those staying longer than a week. The changeover (start/end) day can be whatever suits you. Outside the Edinburgh Festival (August) and Christmas / New Year, it is possible to book for two nights at a rate of £60 per night. The same fee applies if we have to send the keys by Special Delivery for last minute bookers. There is no additional fee for sending the keys within the UK.

Cancellation policy: If you do have to cancel, we refund you deposit-against-damage immediately. We refund the remainder, minus a £25 administrative charge, if we can re-let the dates booked.
