Just a brief word to let you know how pleased I am regarding the unusually early inquiries and booking for next summer. I've been advertising with Holiday-Rentals.co.uk for over 5 years now and I've never before had some many early bookings. She wanted peace and quiet and I think from her comment in our Visitors Book - she found it." Sept 27/2001 - 'Enjoyed a very quiet and peaceful week in this very pleasant villa - Ann Beckett'. "The funny thing was that when she and her husband arrived to collect the keys from the lady who looks after our villa, she looked at Ann and said 'Don't I know you from somewhere?' They all had a good laugh - but our folks kept the secret until after Ann and her husband had left!

Many others are furiously trying to copy your service but, in our experience, none have been able match the quality and appeal of yours. We receive fairly regular invitations to subscribe to other Internet-based advertising schemes and, just to test the water, have actually taken up one or two of their free offers. Suffice to say that we have received only one enquiry from a source other than your own and that did not result in a booking! I cannot thank you enough for all the enquiries plus bookings, I have received over the last 12 months via your web-site. Since September 11th when the Twin Towers in America were demolished through terrorism, the bookings of most of our friends who have villas in Tobago have declined considerably. However, we have personally only experienced a small drop in bookings. This I believe is due to your wonderful web-site. We also have quite a few weeks booked up already for 2004 and 2005. After selling my house in Verona where I was teaching English at the university, I scoured Italy for three years before discovering a very special corner of Umbria. A fantastic medieval tower there with lovely garden was just in my price range, so I bought it, gave up my job and headed south. I thought the best testamonial was to recommend your site to my brother in law (who has a property in Mexico) - he now advertises with you as well. However - thought you might be interested in the following statistics: Out of 24 weeks booked so far this year - 8 weeks came from Holiday-Rentals.co.uk, 7 weeks were from repeat guests, the remaining 9 weeks came from three other sites (5 weeks from one and 1 week each from 2 others and a 2 week booking that I don't know how it originated). - as you can see the greatest proportion of bookings have come from your site. (we only have a potential of 32 weeks per year as we live in our winter home for 20 weeks) - we now only have 6 weeks left to fill - as this is our first year advertising with you, we are staggered by the response our ad has generated.
