What does "remember me" do?

If you tick the "Remember Me" button, next time you return to the HomeAway Holiday-Rentals site you will be able to access your shortlist without having to enter your e-mail address and password.

When you tick the "Remember me" button, we send your computer a "cookie", a small piece of information which is stored on the computer you are using. This identifies you when you return to HomeAway Holiday-Rentals without you having to log in.

If you want to stop using this facility, click "Forget Me" at the top of any page on the site, and the cookie will be deleted. However, you will need to login with your e-mail and password the next time you want to go to your shortlist.

If you are using a shared computer, for example in an internet cafe, we recommend that you do not use the "Remember me" function, as it could allow other people have access to your shortlist.

Advertisers on the site - please note:

If you use the "remember me" facility it gives access to your Advertisers Home Page and all other details, without you having to fully log in. So unless you are the only person who can use your computer, and access to it is password protected, we suggest you do not use this feature.
