Caribbean

The Caribbean is the ideal place to escape the grey skies and rat-race of home, with its tropical climate, laid-back vibe and miles of world-famous white-sand beaches. As well as being a haven for water-sports lovers, divers and deep-sea fishing, it also offers a wealth of art and music, and a gastronomy combining various international cuisines such as African, Chinese, Caribbean, West Indian and European.

As the islands are surrounded by water, fish and seafood feature heavily in dishes from the Caribbean, plus of course an abundance of tempting exotic fruits such as coconuts, kiwis, papaya, bananas and pineapples that thrive in their rich, humid soils.
