Britons to snap up Turkish holiday homes

Holiday homes in Turkey are set to remain popular purchases among British investors, according to an expert.

John Howell, a partner at the International Law Partnership, stated that Turkey is likely to attract more and more second home owners and rental property buyers in the near future.

He described it as a "beautiful" and "interesting" country which offers a number of different attractions to prospective investors.

Mr Howell highlighted the ease of access to Turkey as one factor in its favour, along with its popularity as a holiday destination.

This, he said, has created favourable conditions for overseas property buyers to cash in on its strong rental market.

He commented: "Turkey is a place where you will see increasing numbers of people wanting to buy holiday homes."

Earlier this month, Property Showrooms stated that the Alanya region, located along Turkey's Mediterranean coastline, would be an ideal location for investors.
