Visitors to Ireland in May can expect a "swashbuckling" weekend in the form of the Galway Early Music Festival. Stay in a rented holiday home in Ireland and take a lesson in historical music, with lots of pirate-themed activities for all the family. Workshops in early music are available for both children and adults, while dancing for medieval, renaissance and baroque music will no doubt prove to be another source of fun. Having run the festival since 1996, the organisers promise a fun time for all with "special" music. The Galway Early Music Festival runs from May 17th 2007 to May 20th.
