This winter Sweden hosts the largest Nordic dog show from December 9th to 10th, encouraging dog owners from around the world to bring their pups along to compete. You can enter your best friend in the appropriate class at the 6,000 strong contest, or just stay in a rented holiday home in Sweden and pop along to pick something up from the vast accessories fair for your pet back home.

Wintertime in Sweden is also distinguished by the limited light in the north, making it the perfect place to catch a glimpse of the spectacular marvel of the Northern Lights.
