Montenegrin tourism set to growProperty investment abroad: 15 April 2008The annual number of holidaymakers who visit Montenegro could be set to go up in the next few years, analysts have predicted. According to the Foreign Property Buyer website, the eastern European country attracted more than two million holidaymakers in 2007. However, the online portal believes that this figure could go higher in the near future because of the introduction of new flights. Montenegro Airlines has confirmed that it will start offering direct flights to Gatwick Airport in the next few months, which could lead to more Britons considering a holiday in the country. Furthermore, this could make it an ideal place in which to a purchase an investment property overseas. Foreign Property Buyer commented: "Montenegro probably isn't the first country that overseas investors would think of, yet the country has a lot of plus points going for it." Meanwhile, independent analyst Amberlamb has stated that the launch of new flights "bodes positively" for its "booming" holiday industry.
