Newspaper recommends cheaper holiday destinationsDestination trends: 13 May 2008A British newspaper has recommended that holidaymakers visit countries which have more favourable exchange rates. The Telegraph stated that with the pound at a record low against the euro, more and more people are choosing to go to places outside the eurozone. Therefore, it has compiled a list of possible destinations for people to consider, all of which offer affordable prices, easy access and lots of leisure attractions. Eastern Europe was highlighted as one good location, as countries such as Croatia can be reached in just over two hours. Bulgaria was flagged up as another option, as it has a cheap cost of living and lots of good holiday resorts. However, the newspaper also suggested that people venture beyond European shores and into Morocco. The Telegraph commented: "The simplest way to avoid rising costs in the eurozone is to go elsewhere." See our Croatian featured properties
