Spring into life in Lisbon

Visitors to Lisbon can put the winter blues behind them once and for all this March at the Spring Festival, a massive cultural celebration exploding into life in vibrant style. Hosted at Lisbon's Belem Cultural Centre, the Spring Festival, also known as the Festa de Primavera, comes alive with activity, promising plenty to see and do for children and adults of all ages.

Expect music, live performances, exhibitions and more. Families can stay in a rented holiday home in Lisbon to make sure that they don't miss a minute of the festival, which is guaranteed to be a lively addition to any trip to Lisbon this year.

Highlights include a concert staged by the Portuguese Symphony Orchestra and many of the activities that take place during the Spring Festival are completely free, meaning there is every reason to step out and make the most of what's on offer. The Lisbon Spring Festival takes place in March.
