Turkey 'an ideal property investment country'
Property investment abroad: 18 March 2008Turkey is fast becoming an ideal property investment destination thanks to the number of wealthy investors taking a keen interest in the country.
At the moment, real estate prices are still relatively cheap but there is the chance that this will not last for much longer if demand increases, according to Amberlamb.
Both the economy and the property market is expanding, which is why overseas buyers looking for a place that offers the "opulence of Dubai but the affordability of Egypt" are coming to Turkey.
The country's but-to-let market is also prospering as demand for rented accommodation continues to ride high. This is particularly true in the capital, Istanbul.
"It is a city witnessing a massive boom in its economic fortunes, it is a city enjoying increased tourism and therefore it is a city certainly worthy of closer inspection," states Amberlamb.
"It offers one of the broadest spectra of property in Turkey in terms of affordability."
Turkey, as well as Egypt and Morocco, is proving to be an increasingly popular destinations for Britons looking for more adventurous holidays, according to the Association of British Travel Agents.
