Avocado Smoothie



"I was on an avocado kick, and I was feeling crazy one day so I decided to throw an avocado into my blender to see what would happen. What resulted was a really thick creamy smoothie, almost like an ice cream shake. So I began playing around in search of creating a delicious avocado smoothie recipe!"

Ingredients:


Avocado Smoothie

1/2 small avocado (~60 grams)
150g frozen blueberries *or* 1 small frozen banana
8 oz unsweetened almond milk
2 tablespoons maple syrup (or your own favourite sweetener)
1 teaspoon nutmeg (or to taste)
Crushed ice, if desired






How to prepare this drink:


   
1. Combine all the ingredients into a blender and blend.

2. Pour into your favourite smoothie glasses (2 servings) and refrigerate for a few hours.

3. Drink up and enjoy!

Note: If you are using a banana, make sure you peel it before you freeze it.
