Isles of Capri - A Floridian Paradise

A virtually undiscovered paradise, the Isles of Capri is a dream location to wind down, relax, fish and swim. Capri is two miles from Marco Island and its fabulous beaches, shops and restaurants, and 20 minutes from Naples' sophisticated restaurants and shops.

You first get a sense of the peacefulness of the Isles of Capri as you pass the wetlands that surround the Rookery Bay National Estuarine Sanctuary. It's about 2 miles from one end of the Isles to the other, so walking and cycling is a favourite way to get around. You walk past lovely homes and boats, palm trees, and water which laps up to the edges of the road in some places. There is a sense of openness and tranquillity on the Isles of Capri, an airy feeling created by lovely water views.

Of course, boats are everywhere! Inexpensive boat hire is available on Capri, and is an absolute must! Even if you have no experience, as well as direct access to the Gulf, there is endless boating available on the inland waterways. You can explore the surrounding islands and drive your hire boat right up onto the white ‘icing sugar’ sand of nearby beaches to walk swim and collect wonderful shells and of course watch the amazing Florida sunsets!

At dawn the fishing and crabbing boats can be seen heading out to sea providing an abundance of wonderfully fresh seafood. Guided Sport fishing is available on Capri and there are many Air Boat rides through the nearby Everglades.

The Isles of Capri have several excellent waterfront restaurants and "chickee" bars that make for a fun evening out. Families of all generations are warmly welcomed and casual clothing is a must! You can sip cocktails and eat delicious and inexpensive food (prime rib and sautéed grouper being specialities) whilst overlooking the boats and marina.

Serenity, nature, activities, wonderful people, and beautiful surroundings make Isles of Capri a hidden treasure in Southwest Florida, a little piece of paradise that inspires, relaxes, and heals both mind and body.
