Izmir has a remarkable climate, which sees temperatures soaring in June, resulting in monthly average temperatures of over 30˚C from June until September. The spring and autumn months are possibly the best time to explore the city and all its many attractions as the heat is far less relentless, meaning that you do not always have one eye on the beach! Rain in common in December, but temperatures during the day remain very mild, usually hovering around the 10˚C mark.
