The lovely town of Torrevieja is only a 10-minute drive away from accommodation in La Cinuelica, and makes an excellent day trip. One of the top attractions is the Aquopolis Water Park. There is also a lovely port and promenade that is lined with bars and restaurants. There is a casino and clubs for a lively night out.

Further north is Rio Safari in Elche, which also makes an excellent family day out. Children who visit the safari park can feed the animals, watch an elephant show, take a train ride and swim in the pool. There are a wide variety of wild animals to see and it is well worth the trip, especially if you have children.

You can also make day trip to Murcia and Alicante, which are both located within easy driving distance of La Cinuelica.

The Costa Blanca coast is blessed with over 300 days of sun a year. July and August are the hottest months, with temperatures around 35C. Winters are mild, but the evenings can get cold.
