Visitors to La Maddalena must fly into Sardinia, and the most convenient airport is Olbia Airport (OLB), which receives flights from several of the UK’s budget airlines on an almost daily basis. Visitors will then need to take the short 20-minute ferry journey from Palau, which is 42km from the Airport and can be reached by shuttle bus or car, with most major car hire operators found inside Olbia Airport.
