There are endless water sports available along the coast, with scuba diving, sailing and wind surfing being among the most popular. Deep sea fishing trips can also be organised with ease from Torrevieja, or in fact, any of the seaside towns along the Costa Blanca.

There is no shortage of family entertainment in the area either. The whole region is awash with golf courses, the most taxing and scenic of which can be found in Campoamor and La Mata, and there are also a couple of excellent water parks in the area.
