The bi-weekly markets (Sunday and Wednesday) in Collioure are also well worth visiting for wine, local delicacies and hand made crafts.

Summers in Le Boulou couldn’t be much more pleasant. During July and August, monthly average temperatures reach 26˚C, with daily peak temperatures of around 32˚C on most days. The refreshing mountain breezes keep the air fresh, which is a huge advantage when you are exploring the great outdoors. In winter, conditions are of course colder, as the ski resorts of the Pyrenees are extremely close by.

Taking a hire car is advised, as the area is quite remote, but if you would prefer not to drive during your Le Boulou holiday, taxi services are readily available to and from the airport.
